Hello, my name is Lindsey! I am an animal lover and dog mom to two sweet babies of my own, Rocky (14 yrs.) and Choochi (7 yrs.). I grew up with pets, and there's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I work from home full time so I will always be home to spend time and watch over your baby. My husband, David and I live in a 4-bedroom house with a fully fenced in back yard that your furry one can enjoy whether it’s relaxing in the sun on our deck or running around or exploring the yard with our fur babies! My number one goal is to make sure your dog has the best experience while you are away. I also have experience in providing care for senior dogs/pets, which is my true passion and very close to my heart. Your senior furry still appreciates a good walk. In fact, a moderate amount of exercise and activity can help a dog cope with any anxiety they’re feeling in your absence. A senior dog will be happier keeping its routine close to normal while you’re away. By keeping your loved one with a trusted sitter while you are away will make them feel more secure. bed, toys, and familiar smells will keep them feeling safe while you’re traveling. Some dogs have personalities that make it possible to stay at a dog sitter’s home, especially if you’ve introduced the dog to that environment at least a couple of times before you leave for vacation. In general, dogs that are territorial or avoid socializing will be stressed in a place that separates them from home. Seniors may need special considerations in their care, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have an amazing stay! My care services provide the necessary break by coming to your home to check your pet’s wellbeing, administer medication and perform treatments, in addition to providing basic pet sitting care. I can help fill in and take some of the burden from you by providing medical care to your furry loved one whether you are going to enjoy a weekend getaway, longer vacation, running errands, whatever it may be.
