I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4. My 20-year-old son does school online, so he’s home with the dogs during the day unless he has to work. He’s a big guy, and sometimes the dogs are a little unsure at first, but they warm up quickly once they realize he’s the one giving them all the attention while I’m gone. When I get home, we go for walks and spend time playing outside if the weather cooperates.

I have a nice-sized fenced-in yard for running or playing with a ball or other toys. I have no other pets at home. My back door opens right out to my backyard to make it easy to bring the dogs in and out. My neighborhood is great for taking walks. I have great neighbors who love to come by and say Hi to the new dogs I'm watching and are also just as excited to see what dog I get next.

I like to know if your dog/dogs are friendly with other dogs. I'll watch up to 2 dogs at a time but will do 3 if I am familiar with 1 or more of the dogs. If your dog does not get along with other dogs, I will make sure they're the only one in the house. If I get a request and I already have a stay scheduled, I will always check with the original booking to make sure they're comfortable with their dog being around another dog. Sometimes dogs are great with other dogs but as owners, you may prefer them to be the only one in the house and I will accommodate that. Please let me know if your dog has any dietary restrictions. I like to make lick mats to keep them entertained and homemade dog treats. I don't want to give them anything they can't have.
A typical day
If your dog likes to play with a ball then we'll do that in the yard for a while to burn off some energy. We go for walks around the neighborhood when I get home from work.

I’ve had dogs my whole life and somehow became the “go-to” person everyone calls when they need a sitter. I joined Rover in October 2022 while I was going to school online and spending quiet weekends at home. I missed having furry company around, so I decided to open my home to other people’s pups. Best decision ever! I live with my 20-year-old son, and he loves having dogs here just as much as I do. He’s always asking who’s coming to stay next because we both get excited to meet new furry friends. We treat every dog like part of the family and love to spoil them with cuddles, playtime, and attention. Whether your pup is a snuggler, a ball-chaser, or just loves a good nap on the couch, we’ll make sure they feel right at home. We can’t wait to meet your furry best friend!
