Pet care fits easily into my everyday routine. I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and my 21-year-old son lives at home and is often around during the day, so the dogs usually have some extra company while I'm at work. His work schedule varies, so there may be days when they are home alone for part of the day. Before work, I make sure everyone has time outside and is settled for the day. Once I'm home, my evenings revolve around the dogs. We go for walks, play outside in the fenced-in yard, and spend plenty of time relaxing and cuddling inside. On weekends, I'm home much more, so there's even more time for walks, playtime, and attention. I try to follow each dog's normal routine as closely as possible so their stay feels comfortable and familiar.

Your dog will have plenty of space to play, relax, and feel at home while they're here. I have a fully fenced-in yard with lots of room for running, playing fetch, or just hanging out outside. My back door opens directly into the yard, so frequent potty breaks and outdoor time are easy throughout the day. I don't have any pets of my own, which means your dog gets plenty of individual attention and can settle in without having to adjust to another pet already living in the home. My neighborhood is great for walks, and I have wonderful, dog-loving neighbors who are always excited to meet my newest guest. My goal is to make my home feel like your dog's home away from home, with plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime, and room to get comfortable.

Information Lindsey C. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog's stay, I'd love to know how they do around other dogs so I can make sure everyone in my home is comfortable and safe. I typically board no more than two dogs at a time, although I may occasionally accept three when I already know and am comfortable with one or more of the dogs. If your dog prefers to be the only dog in the home, I'm happy to accommodate that. Whenever I already have a stay booked and receive another request for the same dates, I always check with the first pet parent before accepting another dog. Even if your dog gets along wonderfully with others, I completely understand if you'd prefer for them to have my home and attention all to themselves. Please also let me know about any allergies, dietary restrictions, or foods your dog shouldn't have. I love making lick mats and homemade dog treats for my guests, so I want to make sure anything I give them is safe and parent-approved.
A typical day
I like to keep dogs active based on what they enjoy and their individual energy level. If your dog loves playing fetch, we'll spend plenty of time in the fenced-in yard playing ball and burning off some energy. I also enjoy taking the dogs for walks around the neighborhood when I get home from work. Whether they love to play, explore on a walk, or would rather just relax and get some extra cuddles, I'm happy to follow their normal routine and make their stay feel as comfortable as possible.

Let me spoil your dog with cuddles!
Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life and somehow became the “go-to” person everyone calls when they need a sitter. I joined Rover in October 2022 while I was going to school online and spending quiet weekends at home. I missed having furry company around, so I decided to open my home to other people’s pups. Best decision ever! I live with my 20-year-old son, and he loves having dogs here just as much as I do. He’s always asking who’s coming to stay next because we both get excited to meet new furry friends. We treat every dog like part of the family and love to spoil them with cuddles, playtime, and attention. Whether your pup is a snuggler, a ball-chaser, or just loves a good nap on the couch, we’ll make sure they feel right at home. We can’t wait to meet your furry best friend!

Lindsay took great care of my fur baby while we were away. We will definitely bring him back. Thank you.

Athena & Brody had a blast with Lindsey! We received regular updates and photos, which completely warmed our hearts and gave us peace of mind knowing they were happy and comfortable right away. We will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you!!!!!

Lindsey was perfect! Will be my go-to sitter moving forward.

Thank you Lindsey and family for your wonderful care of our Charley! We were able to have peace of mind and relax on our vacation because we knew he was in good hands! We hope to see you again.
