Pet care experience
Pets are Family!
I’ve had all kinds of pets nearly my whole life—from dogs & cats to chameleons! This has given me extensive experience with animal care. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve also provided pet sitting services for friends, family, and colleagues, ensuring their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, bunnies, rodents, and amphibians! I’ve also cared for pets of all ages and temperaments, from young, energetic puppies (who need as much extra playtime as they can get!) to anxious, shy, or senior-aged pets who require special care. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own!

This was our very first time using Rover, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lindsay was absolutely incredible—kind, communicative, and clearly passionate about caring for dogs. Lindsay was great! She took wonderful care of my senior cat, Paisley, provided well thought-out updates, and effortlessly cleaned up an “accident” on the carpet. Paisley was well cared for and loved under Lindsay’s care.
Lindsay did a wonderful job taking care of our dog Tucker and our house while we were away for a few nights. She sent regular updates, photos and videos of Tucker ,so we knew he was in good care and having fun. She also went above and beyond caring for our house; it was cleaner when we got home than when we left it. We will be using her again!

Schedule
I am a full time student earning my Masters online through Liberty University and am self employed. My schedule is very flexible! When I do work, it is almost always during the hours of 8am-2pm, but the *days* I work are flexible, as are the hours I work (to a certain degree).

When I am caring for someone’s animal(s), they have my full, undivided attention! Some may think of pet sitting as an easy job, and in some ways, that’s true. However, I take the responsibility very seriously! It is my goal to make sure you and your pets are as peaceful and happy as possible while being apart. I have a kitty of my own, and even leaving her when I go on trips is heartbreaking! That’s why, not only will I give your pets all of my loving attention and do my best to keep them happy, but I will also send regular updates and photos of them to you to keep you connected with them while you’re away.
Pets
A typical day
For playful pups, we’ll have zoomie time or games like tug-of-war to keep their minds and bodies active. For cuddle bugs, we’ll enjoy cozy snuggle time and plenty of ear scratches. If your pet loves adventures, we’ll go on exciting walks or explore safe, pet-friendly areas. Kitties will get plenty of interactive play with feather toys, laser pointers, or even a comfy lap to curl up on. No matter their energy level, I make sure every pet gets love, attention, and fun tailored just for them—because happy pets make for happy pet parents, (and happy pet sitters)!
