About Lindsay T.

Safety, trust & environment

I require all pets in my care to be up to date on their vaccinations. Please send me proof of current rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and canine influenza shots upon booking. Any concerns I notice with long term health such as allergies, gait issues, or fleas will be communicated during the visit and a solution can be deployed in real time. Dogs will be monitored for signs of fatigue during hot weather, and I will make sure they don't burn their paws on walks.

Information Lindsay T. would like to know about your pet

As previously mentioned, I require proof of vaccinations. I also want to know about any allergies or behavioral quirks. Pets can be afraid of common things like plastic bags or books, and I'd hate to send a fuzzy friend scurrying under the bed in fear, so please tell me any phobias. If your pet has a favorite game, or a toy they really like, that could be wonderful to know.

A typical day

Upon waking up or arriving to the residence, I check up on the animals. I then go to get both of us some breakfast, usually after a quick scritch behind the ears. I'll make sure their food is eaten in a timely manner, then wash dishes and let the pet out for a quick potty break or leashed walk if needed. Then I'll spend the rest of the day in the common area, checking on and playing with the animal periodically. If the weather turns, I will let in any dogs outside in rain or extreme (105F or more) heat, or just sit with a pet who's afraid of thunderstorms. Right before I take my lunch, I'll make sure to give any dogs a chance to go potty outside, then let them in after 15~ minutes. Throughout the day, I'll refill water dishes, being careful not to overfill if you've indicated your pet has an issue with gulping too fast. Then I eat dinner, feed your pet its second meal, and wind down for the day before letting any dogs out for a quick potty break before we go to bed, crating the animal if needed. All throughout, I've told your pet how cute, well behaved, and sweet they are.

I have known Lindsay since she was a little girl always been out going and friendly. When I got my dog Dewey I was and still am a first responder and needed care for him every week. Lindsay was the first choice I had in mind and she has exceeded my expectations. She loving and caring im gone for days at a time and sometimes im not able to get home from a shift right away .She always keeps me in the loope by sending pictures and giving updates. I believe she is a great pet sitter is because she loves and cares for animals and I couldn't be more blessed and grateful for her. I would recommend 10/10 professional, trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Lindsay is a very caring and loving pet sitter. She took care of my house cats and outdoor cats on numerous occasions. I know her from my neighborhood as someone who keeps an eye out for the community cats that other neighbors feed. She befriends those she can, and brushes their fur and makes sure there is fresh water out for them. She also has experience with dogs, walking her own and a friend’s dog who goes to her house on doggy play dates. I would feel comfortable having her care for my pets again.

Lindsay has been amazing with my dog and two cats. She has done both walks and drop-in visits, and I always know they're in great hands. She makes sure everyone is fed, takes the time to brush them, and genuinely cares about them. I've had to leave town unexpectedly a few times for emergencies, and it's been such a relief knowing my pets are safe and well cared for with Lindsay. My cats are usually very hesitant around new people, but they absolutely love her. My dog is a bit of a nervous girl, and Lindsay has been so patient and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or walker.
