We are a dog family, our dogs are with us all the time and are part of our everyday routines. After a year of maternity leave, I’m heading back to work. I work from home with 1 or 2 days in the office depending on the week, and my husband works 5 minutes from home with the ability to pop in to let the dogs out when required on the days I am not home.

At home we have a fenced in yard where the dogs can play outside and we also have lots of walking paths around us for daily walks. Our dogs have the run of the main floor and basement and they love being around us at all times. Tv time is cuddle time on the couch!

Information Lindsay T. would like to know about your pet
I want to ensure your dog is comfortable and there is no stress on them while we are out. Do they react to loud noise? To squirrels or rabbits or birds? Are they reactive around other dogs? Do they need to do anything special for them to do their business? (Long grass, short grass, off leash etc) Do they have any allergies? There is never too much information that you can give me about your pet!
A typical day
We have lots of walking paths in the neighbourhood and we like to take our dogs to the big park and throw the ball (as long as they are ok off leash). We also have a big backyard that we like to play in and spend time in the fresh air. I want to accommodate your pet as best as possible so depending on their personality and regular routine I can adjust walks and playtimes to suit them.

Hello fellow animal parents! I am an animal person through and through, I grew up on a farm with all types of animals big and small. My love for dogs began early when our family raised Guide Dogs for the Blind and I have had a dog in my home ever since! I have worked as a dog foster home with rescue groups and I have helped local breeders with whelping and raising puppies. We currently have 2 dogs of our own that we have done puppy classes and training with. I’m a dog mom and I know what it’s like to leave your pets, (I’m THAT dog mom that leaves 5 pages of info and instructions when I go away :P) so I know what it’s like and want to put your mind at ease as much as possible. I love to give regular updates and pictures and can be reached at any time (yes you can FaceTime your dog if you want with me!)

This was our first time using Rover for a dog sitter. We were a little unsure but Lindsay and her family made this a great experience. Lindsay met with us a couple weeks in advance of our pup’s stay, she sent us many updates with photos and took such good care of our pup that she did not want to leave. We’ll definitely be using Lindsay again in the future. Wish we could rate her with 100+ stars!!!
It was my first time leaving Rosie alone over night and I couldn't have chosen a better home than Lindsay's. Rosie was so well taken care of and the pictures and updates I received had her fitting right in with the family. It was such a relief to know that she was so well taken care of, and I will definitely book with her again.
Bronco LOVES going to see Lindsay and her family! He’s slightly obsessed with her little boy. 🤣 I can always relax knowing that he is being taken care of, and he comes home happy and not at all stressed.
Nothing is more important than knowing that my animals are loved and well cared for when I am away. I know Ruby is happy when she is with Lindsay and family and I love that Lindsay has been available everytime I need her help. This consistency is so important for Ruby’s welfare. She always stays with Lindsay.
