Your dogs home away from home
We are a dog-loving family and will treat your pup like one of our own! ❤️ We recently lost our beloved Golden Retriever, Porter, in March, and we miss having his big, happy presence in our home. My daughter especially would absolutely love having a visiting dog to spoil with attention, cuddles and playtime! Your dog will also have the company of our sweet 16-year-old Cockapoo, Harlow, as well as plenty of human companionship throughout their stay. We live right on Sixteen Mile Creek, so there are beautiful trails just steps from our home for daily walks and lots of outdoor time. If your dog loves the water, swimming can be part of the fun too! 🐾 When we’re home, expect lots of cuddles, attention and a comfortable place to relax. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, loved and completely at home while they’re with us. ❤️

Baylor had a great stay with Lyndsay! I was able to receive periodic updates on his adventures and he also enjoyed his playtime with his new friend Porter.
Lindsay took great care of Nash. It helps that Nash had a great time with Porter, her golden retriever. Would definitely bring Nash back to her when I'm away.
Lindsay would make an excellent dog sitter because she is intelligent, patient, and truly loves all kinds of dogs. I have often gone on walks with Lindsay and Porter and have first hand experience with the way she interacts with dogs. Lindsay is able to deal with all manner of behaviour and her home is suitable for all breeds. I think Lindsay and Porter will be great hosts to any pup looking for a temporary home.
Lindsay is wonderful with our Golden retriever Riley! Porter and him are such a good pair and he always comes home happy and tired out!!! We wouldn't hesitate to leave our dog with her anytime!
I have left my dog in Lindsays care many times. My dog loves getting into the car and staying at her place for a few days with her lovely golden Porter. I would NEVER have a problem leaving my dog in her care as she treats all dogs as her own.
Not only is Lindsay a close friend of mine for many years, she has often pet sitted for us for our 4 year old boxer. When Lindsay watches Lola for us she treats her like she is her own, always giving her special attention and taking her on long walks which she quite enjoys!!

Schedule
Both my husband and I work from home and have flexible schedules, so someone is typically home throughout the day. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention and opportunities for outdoor breaks. I also walk about 5 km a day on the beautiful trails near our home, so if your dog loves exercise and longer walks, I’d be very happy to have the company! For pups who prefer a slower pace, we’re happy to adjust their walks and routine to whatever they’re used to at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup will truly be part of our family while staying with us! We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, plus lots of toys, games and mental stimulation inside to keep them happy and entertained. With both my husband and me working from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention throughout the day. We’re also happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾❤️

My daughter absolutely loves dogs and will happily provide plenty of playtime, attention and cuddles — she’ll probably tire them out before they tire her out! They will walk, hike, swim, play ball on the court or just laze around and get pets from us - whatever their speed, we will match it!

- Because we have a young child and a small senior dog in our home, we can only welcome dogs who are friendly, gentle and comfortable around both children and other dogs. We are not able to accommodate dogs with a history of aggression, reactivity toward children or dogs, or resource guarding. The safety and comfort of everyone in our home — including your pup — is our priority, so we want to make sure each dog is a great fit for our family environment.
