🐾 Safe Experienced Attentive Care
I grew up riding and training horses and, beginning at just 15 years old, I was responsible for caring for entire barns of horses while the owners traveled, sometimes for weeks at a time. Horses taught me responsibility, attention to detail, and how to anticipate problems before they happen. I’ve owned and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes. They’ve always been a huge part of my life. I’m excited to be welcoming small dogs into my home again because my dogs and I genuinely love having little visitors around. My parents have two Maltipoo puppies who come to visit often, and it’s always so much fun watching them play together. Dude and Burrito are incredibly gentle and social with smaller dogs, and spending time with those little pups has honestly had me tempted to get one of my own. I’m just not quite ready for another permanent addition, so I figured going back to rover was the next best thing! I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup will receive lots of individual attention in a calm, low stress home environment. I want every dog who stays with me to be as comfortable and happy as possible. Your dog will enjoy a securely fenced yard, neighborhood walks, plenty of playtime, and lots of love while you’re away. I work from home as an interior designer, so I’m home most of the day and only leave occasionally for a few hours for client appointments. I live alone and I am a homebody. I also have a cat, Bean, who has lived with dogs her entire life and peacefully coexists with them. I’m a firm believer that great pet care comes from being attentive, observant, and proactive. I’m always paying attention to body language, personalities, and anything that could affect your dog’s safety or comfort. I’ll care for your pup with the same level of attention and love that I give my own (and I’m an overly cautious helicopter mom 😆). To make sure everyone has the best experience, I’m looking for dogs who are a great fit for my home. Visiting dogs should be reliably house trained, friendly with other dogs and cats, and have no history of aggression. I require all dogs that I watch to be up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and vaccines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind knowing your pup is safe, loved, and treated like one of my own.

Lindsay did such a great job taking care of my pup! I was gone for 2 weeks, which was the longest I've ever been away from my dog. She sent multiple videos and photos a day, and my dog had so much fun! I loved the fact she works from home, so that my pup wasn't alone during the day. I felt really confident that my dog was in amazing hands! Will definitely be using her for all future trips! You rock!
Lindsay was absolutely amazing. She really kept me informed of my dogs status the entire time. She sent constant videos and my dogs had a great time! Such a great time, in fact, I wasn’t sure if they were going to want to leave! If you want your dogs in safe, reliable hands, I highly suggest Lindsay!

Lindsay was SO great with my little dog, Honey. It’s really hard for me to find sitters I trust with her because she’s so small and special, but I felt so comfortable leaving her in Lindsay’s care! She was really great at sending me pictures and videos too, I never had to guess how Honey was doing because she kept me updated so well! It’s a blessing that I’ve found her & I will definitely be re-booking the next time I need a sitter for my little one!

Was so great knowing pup was having a “spoil me” day while I got stuff done. Lindsay was great. Will definitely be repeat customer with her

Lindsay is an absolute blessing when it comes to pup sitting. She is great with communication and updates throughout the day and treats your pup like her own. I feel confident and at ease when my pup is in her care.
Lindsay was fantastic! I had to leave out of town for work on short notice, but didn’t feel comfortable leaving Willow. Lindsay quickly made me feel at ease and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for the best care for their pet.

Schedule
I work from home as an interior designer and make my own schedule, so I’m home the vast majority of the day. I only leave occasionally for a few hours for client appointments. My dogs love having friends over, and your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a securely fenced backyard for supervised play, and all introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. Dogs are always fed separately so everyone can eat comfortably and safely. If I need to leave the house dogs are safely separated. While I only accept dogs that are friendly and a good fit for my home, I believe it’s always best practice not to leave dogs that don’t know each other unsupervised. It’s a simple precaution that helps ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. I only board one family’s dog(s) at a time, allowing me to provide individualized care in a calm, low stress environment.

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I try to stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. Our days include neighborhood walks, supervised play in my fenced backyard, enrichment, naps, cuddle time if they enjoy it, and plenty of individual attention. If you approve and it’s quiet, we may also visit the neighborhood dog park’s small dog area. Otherwise, we’ll enjoy walks and backyard play instead. I’m an early riser and my boys always go on two outings a day, whether that’s a walk or the dog park.
