Pet care experience

Making time apart enriching & fun!

With a lifelong passion for animals, I’ve grown up surrounded by and caring for these special souls, from playful kittens to senior dogs and even horses! As early as 8 I would dedicate my lemonade stand earnings to my local animal shelter and spending my summers volunteering. My journey in pet care has been enriched by my work with 4 Paws for Ability, where I contributed to training service dogs. I also have had experience working with dogs in Animal Assisted Therapy through an undergraduate psychology internship. I recently said goodbye earth side to my family’s senior dog and assisted in his specialized care until the end. With my psychology background I understand the importance of tailoring care to the individual and their specific needs and apply that same level of love and care to all animals!

Lindsay was amazing with our dog Billie and was so accommodating when we had to delay our pickup due to travel delays!

We needed a dog sitter at very short notice. We were so lucky that Lindsay was available! She spent so much time playing fetch with Ita, taking her for long walks. Lindsay sent us many picture every day to keep us updated. Ita was very happy. She is a great dog sitter, cares a lot about dogs. I would recommend Lindsay to anybody, who wants their dog be safe and happy!

I’m so happy with the care my dog received! He had a great time, and I loved getting multiple picture updates. He came back happy and healthy, and I will definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule

I’ve had a lifelong passion for helping both animals and people. I am full time college student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Integrative Health and Wellness, and have been looking for a more fulfilling way to help pay my bills/tuition. This year I am taking my classes fully online and figured what better way to spend my time at home than with some furry friends! I love to be active from a walk around the neighborhood to hiking. I have a fenced in front and backyard perfect for playing outside as well as great AC for cooling off from the summer heat! I live near multiple parks and have a car for any farther adventures or emergencies! I am happy to accommodate any of your pets needs (and your preferences) whether it’s multiple walks a day to cuddles and medication. I truly want to transform what can often be a difficult time apart into an enriching and joyful experience both you and your pet. While I enrich your pet’s lives they are also enriching mine! I’m very flexible and open to all pets and people!

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for your pet, tailored to their individual needs. I ensure they have plenty of playtime, mental stimulation, and affection, all while keeping to their usual routines as much as possible to reduce stress. I have a fenced in front and backyard and will never leave your pet unsupervised. I keep a clean and toxin free house to ensure the upmost safety for your pet. I am open and happy to take any specific instructions or preferences to make you and your pet most at ease.

A typical day

I believe it’s important to stimulate your pets both physically and mentally. I’m a big fan of using lick mats, puzzle toys, and snuffle mats for mental stimulation! When it comes to physical activity, I have a fenced in yard perfect for playing fetch, running around, or just enjoying the fresh air. Along with walking around the neighborhood, I’m willing to take your pets to the park or on a hike. I’m happy to take any suggestions for activities based on your pet’s energy level, physical health/ability, and personality!

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or accommodations ahead of time so that I can ensure the best possible care. In order to provide the best experience it’s helpful for me to be informed about your pets daily routine, typical behavior/personality, health issues/medications, potty training status, and any favorite toys or activities!
