I am currently in between jobs so I have open availability. I have a reliable car for transportation in case you live outside of Midtown. I am willing to travel a short distance to care for your pet.

I will take care of your pet while staying at your home. I will treat the property with respect, as if it's an Airbnb and will get charged a cleaning fee. I will make sure your pet's routine is not disrupted and that they feel comfortable with my presence. I would require a meet and greet before accepting the job and that we take a walk with your pet as well.

Anything and everything you think is important. What kind of personality quirks does your dog have? What's their favorite toy/treat/activity? Are they dog reactive on and off leash? Do they have a thing for people wearing hats? Do they resource guard? Are they so food motivated I have to eat alone in the bathroom? All the silly things that make your pet so precious, I want to know.
A typical day
It would depend on the individual dog and their needs. I would love to take dogs for long hikes, and to the dog park if that is what they are used to. However, if the dog is reactive, I will find ways to keep them active without being around triggers. I am also a huge fan of food puzzles and treat dispensers if they need mental stimulation at home.

Pet care experience
I've worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years. I have experience handling most dog breeds and attitudes. I am comfortable administering medications and sticking to their trained routines. I am willing to make drop in visits for dog walks or overnight stays for the more high maintenance pups. I can not offer in my home boarding as I have 5 cats who would probably disown me if I brought a dog inside.
