Safety, trust & environment
If clients are looking for a dog sitter I will treat the dog as if they are my own. I would walk the dog, let them out in the yard to play and go to the bathroom; play inside the house. I would try and make the pet feel as comfortable as possible until their owners returned along with making sure they have fresh water and food. If the client wants me to walk their pets, I would make sure that it was not too cold or hot out, that it was safe to do so. I would make the walk a positive experience for the animal, and pay attention to the surroundings to make sure there is no danger.
Information Lindsay R. would like to know about your pet
Medication dosage(s) and schedule Any special food and diet restrictions Feeding schedule Bathroom schedule Walks ( how far and for how long) Any physical injuries (past and current) Other concerns the owner thinks I should know.
A typical day
Depending on the dog(s) I would throw toys and play fetch with them. Upon approval from owner I would take the dog(s) to the dog park, go for walks to keep them entertained throughout their owners' absence.

Pet care experience
I've always had pets in my life from a young age. I love dogs in general and love taking care of them. I worked at dog daycare/boarding facility in Huntingdon Valley. I also went to school to become a certified Veterinary Assistant and worked in a veterinary office.
Reviews

Lindsay did great with our Layla! She was very responsive and followed all of our directions.
Lindsay has watched our Porkroll - my 21lb chihuahua/Shi tzu for about a year and a half now, ever since we adopted him. Whenever we are away for sports for the day or a weekend getaway we always call Linds. She’s so great when it comes to stopping by or having to spend a few nights at the house. Porkroll gets SO excited when Lindsay comes through the door, I know he’s going to be well taken care of when she comes! She’s the first person we always call. She knows Pork’s routines by now & they’ve become best buds. So great to trust someone like Linds with your fur-baby.
Lindsay was such a great caregiver for my dog while I was away! She sent pictures and was very communicative while she was with him. She also went above and beyond and stayed with him longer than I expected to make sure he had enough company and entertainment. I highly recommend Lindsay to help take care of your pet and I will definitely ask her to take care of my dog again when needed in the future!
