About Lindsay R.

Safety, trust & environment
Before working with pets, I spent decades as a child care provider—both in clients’ homes and as a licensed dayhome operator. I’m deeply experienced in caring for those who rely on adults to advocate for their safety and comfort. While toddlers and dogs are very different, the instincts to nurture, observe, and respond thoughtfully are the same.
Information Lindsay R. would like to know about your pet
To ensure your dog gets the best care, I appreciate learning: 1) Your dog’s current training method and progress 2) Behavioral triggers or anxieties 3) Daily routines (walks, meals, playtime, medications) 4) Crating or sleep setup 5) Preferred parks, routes, or activities
A typical day
I love giving dogs time in nature. With your permission, we’ll explore trails or head to dog-friendly parks like Sue Higgins. If your dog loves water, I’m happy to let them splash in the river (supervised, of course!). I also enjoy interactive play like tug or fetch, and I never say no to a good dog cuddle. If your pup is up for it, we can even go on hikes. Whether it’s a 30-minute walk or a weekend stay, your dog will be treated with love, care, and respect.

Mature, reliable + pet-centered!
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Lindsay – a lifelong animal lover and caregiver with 25+ years of experience. I bring maturity, reliability, and clear communication to every pet-sitting or dog-walking job. Raised on a ranch, I grew up surrounded by animals, including stock dogs and a variety of breeds. Over the years, I’ve spent meaningful time with dogs belonging to friends and professional trainers, and I’m fully comfortable with following any care routines or discipline systems you’ve put in place. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority. Whether I’m walking your dog, doing drop-ins, or staying overnight, I ensure safety, fun, and lots of affection every step of the way.

Reviews
Lindsay R. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing with Fowler. She stayed 10-days in our home and we returned to a tidy and taken care of home! Fowler was so comfortable with her and it was clear how happy she was in the many photos Lindsay sent throughout her stay. We’ve never been so comfortable and relaxed on a vacation. We couldn’t recommend Lindsay more!

I’ve had such a great experience with Lindsay! They are incredibly reliable, always on time, and genuinely care about Luna. Lindsay is great at making sure walks are engaging, keeping me updated, or just giving Luna a little extra attention.

Lindsay took excellent care of our dogs. They were happy to see her on our first meeting and clearly enjoyed being with her. She walked them individually which is twice the walking! Lindsay sent us updates and pictures at least daily which we enjoyed and we could see the dogs were happy. Glad we found Lindsay and are already booking our next dog sitting!
