My husband and I both grew up with dogs and had the privilege of fostering several dogs while living in Rwanda for 2 years. This past May, we unexpectedly lost our beloved 11-year-old dog. She was so much more than a pet—she was truly a member of our family and had grown up alongside our children, ages 9 and 6. We’re not quite ready to fill the space she left behind, so we thought Rover might be a wonderful way to spend time with dogs again while giving another family peace of mind knowing their dog is being cared for and loved. Your dog is allowed on our furniture and has access to a large fenced in yard! Our dog was fear aggressive and we were unable to utilize a boarding facility. We can sympathize that leaving your dog can be difficult. We’ll treat them like one of our own—with lots of affection, patience, attention, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Having fostered dogs with very different personalities and backgrounds, we know that every dog has their own needs, quirks, and way of showing love. We’d love to welcome your dog into our home and give them the same love and care we’ve always given our own. Note: For the comfort and safety of your pup, we only care for dogs from one family at a time. We’re happy to accommodate two dogs from the same family, but we do not mix dogs from different households during the same stay.
