Hey! I’m LJ. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and absolutely love being around them. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups who need lots of exercise to older dogs who just want a calm, patient companion. I recently lost my best friend of 13 years and went through caring for her as a senior dog, which taught me a lot about attentiveness, medication routines, slower walks, and giving pets extra comfort and reassurance. I’ve also got experience in dogs who don’t get along with other dogs and how to navigate this. I’m dependable, easy to communicate with, and happy to send photo updates while you’re away. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, or just someone calm to hang with, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of. I will treat your dog like my own :)

LJ is an amazing pet sitter. I never have to worry when she has my dog. She will send updates and pictures. She treats my dog like she's her own. Walks and cuddles. My dog always gets so excited when she shows up! LJ has stayed in my home to care for Clue. She is super respectful and clean.

Schedule
I work full-time but have a flexible schedule, including two office days per week (typically Monday and Tuesday), and I’m able to plan my days off accordingly. Outside of work, pet care fits naturally into my routine after doing routine for 13 years on my own with my past dog and is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, overnight care, and quality time before and after work, as well as on weekends. I’m active, reliable, and love being outdoors, so walks and playtime never feel like a chore to me. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine closely to help them feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away

Your pet’s comfort and safety will always come first with me. I’m very attentive to routines, behaviour, feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel calm and secure in their environment. I recently cared for my own senior dog, so I understand the importance of patience, trust, and paying attention to small changes in behaviour or energy. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, clean, dependable, and focused on keeping your pet’s routine consistent.
A typical day
I love being around dogs and making sure they have a great time, whether that’s a trip to the park, a walk, a beach adventure, or simply relaxing at home playing, cuddling, and keeping them company.
