Does your youngster still have the happy-squirts? I will happily clean up before I go! Is your dog wary of new people, and need his/her time to come to me before we head out door? I will patiently wait and give them the space they need to build trust. Some dogs roam the house, some are crated, some allowed in certain rooms. Whatever you need, just let me know and it will be done :)

Well-balanced dogs are not just well-exercised dogs; they also need structure, rules/boundaries, mental stimulation, and skill-buiding activities in order for them to be content and enjoyable pets. Walks are tailored to your dog's personal needs and can include a mix of sniffing/exploration, play, light training, and power walking or a leisurely stroll. Dogs are kept on-leash at all times unless in a fully fenced area on your property.

My goal as a dog walker is to provide safe, reliable, and personalized service with care! Send a message and we can set up a free meet and greet to see if I meet your needs and your dog's approval :) As a child I always had pets and a strong love for animals. The summer before college I worked at a boarding/doggy daycare/training facility where I was first introduced to working with dogs. The skills and basic training techniques I learned helped me later in life with my own two dogs (who have since passed the rainbow bridge). Though I miss having a dog of my own, as a dog walker I have had several dogs come into my life that I am thrilled to have developed relationships with. I love getting out for walks, and it is always better with a dog by my side!

Lindsay was great with and for our dog! We adopted a new dog from the SPCA at 18 months old and he had absolutely no leash manners. We initially booked Lindsay to help out during a busy week with out of town visitors and are now planning on using her more. She helped take him on long walks, desensitize him to stimuli, provided tips and tricks for walking in his harness and allowed us to use different leads and equipment she had to see what would work for him. She offered more than simply dog walking during her time with him.
Lindsay is fantastic! I would highly recommend her!
