Most recently, when I’m home, I regularly walk and care for my sister’s dog, including feeding and maintaining her daily routines. Thanks to my flexible schedule, I’m able to give her longer walks and extra attention—something she’s come to expect and get very excited about. I also care for my best friend’s dog, whom I’ve known since she was adopted during COVID. Having been part of her life from the beginning, she’s very comfortable with me and treats me as part of the family. When my friends are away, I often house sit or stay with the dogs at their cottage during the summer so they can remain in a familiar environment without the need for frequent trips back to the city. Beyond the responsibility, the added bonus for me is genuinely having these dogs in my life. I truly enjoy their company and take pride in providing calm, consistent, and attentive care while their owners are away.

I was a devoted dog owner for 8 years and understand firsthand the responsibility, routine, and love that go into caring for a pet. While frequent work travel makes it impractical for me to have a dog of my own right now, I’ve continued to care for friends’ and family members’ pets over the years—helping fill that gap while staying deeply connected to animals—everything from walks and feeding to companionship and cuddles.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing. She took wonderful care of our Bentley while we were away. We got regular updates and pictures. He seemed to have enjoyed her company and the house was spotless when we came back. We will for sure be asking Lindsay to stay with Bentley next time we’re away.

It was immediately clear that she genuinely loves animals and understands their needs, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. She stayed in our home and was 100% trustworthy—our house was left spotless, neat, and well cared for, which we truly appreciated. She kept us regularly updated with messages and check-ins, so we always knew how Eddy and Parker were doing and could relax knowing they were happy and safe. Eddy and Parker absolutely adored her, and it shows in how comfortable and well-cared-for they were when we returned. If you’re looking for someone who is responsible, kind, respectful of your home, and fantastic with pets, I cannot recommend her highly enough. We would book her again in a heartbeat.
