I have a full-time office job Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm in Columbus, Texas. I am usually available for walks and drop-ins before work, after work, and weekends outside of my office-job hours. If you live locally in Columbus, I may also be able to do a short drop-in during my lunch hour. It never hurts to ask! Please note that I am not booking overnight stays at this time, though I am happy to take in mail, turn off/on lights, and water your plants while you are away!

I work directly with you, the pet parent(s), to ensure I understand your needs and desires for the visit(s) and to confirm I am comfortable and confident with the instructions and requests. Communication is key before, during, and even after a booking. Your pets will become my temporary fur-babies while they are in my care. They will feel loved and cared for during our visits - and what that actually looks like depends on your fur baby and your needs. Please feel free to reach out with inquiries prior to booking to discuss particulars.

Please let me know what particular special needs your pet has and what behaviors - good and bad - that I should be on the lookout for. Include allergies, treat predilections, favorite toys and activities, habits you're trying to un-learn, and more. I am experienced in all ages, weights, and temperaments. I just ask that we communicate openly and clearly beforehand (and afterward!) so we both understand the expectations of the visit. This will allow your pet and me to have the most pleasant time together!
A typical day
Fun activities depend on your pup's interests and needs. You and I can chat about what you'd like to happen and I am experienced in determining needs and interests, as well, during my time with dogs. My interaction can range from lots of energy play and walks, to mental stimulation, to mellow low-energy time.

Hi there! Concierge Canine Care is a culmination of a lifetime of pet care experience - I'm happy to admit I began more than 30 years ago! I began pet sitting when the other kids started babysitting. My job during my undergrad years was a "pet bather" at PetsMart where I learned the business of canine (and feline) care that I've maintained to this day - this includes nail trimming, ear cleaning, hygiene and paw area clean-up, and more. I am a professional adult who loves animals and thoroughly enjoys working with their humans. My passion is canine behavior, working with dogs and helping people with their dogs. I am working towards becoming a certified dog trainer and behaviorist, as well. I have experience with and accept bookings for puppies to seniors, as well as special needs. I am size-inclusive from pocket to giant: from Chihuahua to Wolfhound, I have the experience. I am sensitive to behavioral concerns, as well. Feel free to reach out to me about nail/ear/paw care, walks, drop-in visits, play dates, and the extras that would make you feel comfortable and your pet feel that extra bit of love and attention. At this time, I am not accepting overnight bookings, though I am happy to take in mail, turn off/on lights, and water your plants while you are away! I have used Lindsay's services for both of my goldendoodles. She gets down to their level and lets them feel comfortable, she rubs on them, talks to them, they kiss her, and she has tons of patience. She has trimmed both of their nails with grinders and clippers. I say she has patience because neither of my pups have ever had their nails grinded. She was fantastic with both. Ryder is 3 and Charlie is just a baby (7 mos old). They both love Lindsay and she loves them right back. I wish I lived closer so I could use more of her services, but I will definitely use her services when I am in town.
Over the years Lindsay provided incredible care for our kitties Martha and Mollie. Our girls are very shy, yet not with Lindsay. I know they knew right away that Lindsay was a someone that was kind and caring. They warmed up to her immediately. I wish we lived closer to her now as she would be are regular kitty care person. We highly recommend her to help with any animal care needs. Besides feeding and litter service she loves animals. She would just spend the must needed company all animals need to be happy and emotionally secure. Again we highly recommend her as when she helped us she really became part of our family.
If you need someone to watch your dog who is reliable and who you can trust, Lindsay is that person! She loves dogs and enjoys their different personalities. She is protective of them and keeping them safe and healthy is her priority. Lindsay has been around dogs for years and she loves playing with them and spending time with them. We found Lindsay to be reliable, knowledgeable and responsive when she watched our dog and I would not hesitate to call on her again. If you need someone to look after your dog who will give your dog the love you do, I would not think twice about hiring her. She’s amazing.
