I appreciated the time Lindsay took to meet with me prior to booking, including three in-person visits where we discussed my dogs separation setup and care instructions in detail. I was reassured multiple times that she was comfortable with the arrangement. Unfortunately, within the first 24 hours of the stay, I was informed that she needed me to return home due to stress from the situation and terminated the booking earlier than agreed upon. This required me to make arrangements during my entire trip to accommodate the early departure. Lindsay also despite already having ended the booking early, left an hour earlier than the changed time, which made it even more difficult to get home in time to feed the dogs and let them out. Because of this, they were left alone for over 10 hours. There were also some concerns during the stay. Explicit safety instructions (including not leaving collars on indoors due to prior incidents) were not followed despite having conversations about this before confirming the booking. Written and video instructions I provided for nighttime management were not reviewed prior to the first night, which led to many preventable messages about how she was feeling during the stay. Additionally, property damage (a mirror knocked down and frame cracked) was not disclosed and was discovered upon my return. Communication primarily centered around the stress she experienced (when she assured me she was comfortable with the situation multiple times) rather than giving any updates on the pets, and I had to request information about how they were doing. I understand that every situation with animals can feel different once you’re in it, and I do not believe there was any ill intent. However, given the early termination, communication concerns, and failure to follow directions, this experience did not meet expectations.

Absolutely amazing job sitting for our kitties. Everything was perfect!!!!

Lindsay was an excellent dog and house sitter! She took great care of our energetic dog with many walks and shared pictures throughout our trip.
