A little about me: Raised in Minnesota, I graduated from medical school in 2018 and worked for the Department of Psychiatry at the U of M, Twin Cities doing clinical research. Currently, I work as a medical resident in psychiatry and during my time off, I would love spending fun-loving time with puppies, kittens, dogs and cats alike! I am available most weekends and during the week in the afternoon and evening. Usually, I am able to work from home after 3pm. I am more than willing to house-sit if that is helpful and more convenient for you. This would include any other housing needs while you are gone such as picking up the mail, watering plants and / or any other light work the help maintain your home while you are away.

My goal while you are away from the home is to ensure that you return to a home left in a better condition than when you found it. Information Lindsay F. would like to know about your pet
Explain your dog's temperament, how trained or untrained s/he is, and how well the dog can leash walk. Also, please let me know your dog's shedding and grooming needs! If there are particular traits, routines or "perks" to cater to each pet's unique personality, please do not hesitate to give me all the details you can. I would like to know the house rules (rooms or furniture that are off limits). Also, please have the information of your pet's veterinarian available and any relevant healthcare records that I may need to bring with to a visit. For example: one customer had 2 geriatric westies, one who had a bad ear infection and another who required regular insulin shots and eye drops to manage diabetic retinitis. There was a potential that I would have had to bring either dog to the vet for a follow up visit, and so carriers were also made available.
A typical day
If your dog enjoys the dog park, I would love to play at the dog park with your dog. I go on a minimum of 30 min walks or playtime, and longer if the pooch happens to have a particularly large amount of energy! A limited amount of treats are always fun, and so are tummy rubs, grooming and if required, bathing!

TLC for your Furry Family Members!!
Pet care experience
From cockerspaniel-poodles, to golden retrievers, soft-coated wheaten terriers, labradors, pugs, westie terriers, French bulldogs, pitbulls, airedale terriers and beagles- I love them all! As an adult, I have my own two cat (and hopefully will be able to add a doggie playmate when the time is right!) who are my best furry friends a human could ask. Trusting someone to take care of your furry friends can be stressful. I will love and care for your dog like s/he is my own. Dogs have such wonderful and unique personalities and I am looking forward to get to know your dogs' little quirks and personality traits! In addition to growing up helping raise my family dog and my own pets, I also volunteered for See Spot Rescued. As a volunteer, the organization taught us to help the rescued dogs learn basic commands and leash-walking skills, while they awaited forever homes. In addition, I volunteer with several rescue organizations (Angel of Hope, Safe Hands Rescue & The Bond Between (formerly Second Hand Hounds)), including staffing adoption events. Recently, I began volunteering for “This Old Horse/ Racehorse Reimagined,” which is a rescue and rehabilitation organization that saves old horses sent to slaughter or auction house as well as rehabilitate retired racehorses at their horse farm. It has been a great way to learn horsewomanship and spend time around fellow equestrian lovers! I have also house-sat and dog walked for neighbors, relatives and family friends. This includes dog sitting for a family comprised of 3 terriers, 2 who were puppies! For those of you who are familiar with the terrier breed personalities, they can be a bit of a handful! I am available for dog walking/play time during the day, and dog house sitting in your home and drop-in visits but not dog boarding. You may reach me best by phone, and will do my best to respond within 2 hours. In addition, I understand that finding great and quality care for your lovable furry family member can get expensive and am open to negotiate a more reasonable price point. Lastly, past customers have asked for assistance with administering medications and other healthcare needs, including insulin injections, creams, eardrums and pills (both oral and suppositories).

Reviews
She was great. She sent pictures and videos so I knew the pets were doing well! Will definitely contact again.

Just amazing, i can’t put in words how great she is. My dog is super happy and loved and well taken care of.

I absolutely recommend Lindsay to care for your pets. Lindsay loves dogs and they love her back! She is kind, caring, dependable and intelligent. We were table to have a worry-free vacation while Lindsay did a terrific job of caring for our two senior Westies. Lindsay stayed in our house while we were gone for a family vacation. Right before we left for our trip, one of our Westies, Joy, had to have a surgical procedure on her eye to remove a corneal ulcer. Lindsay had to give her three different eye drops multiple times every day. Our other Westie, Jake, is diabetic and so Lindsay had to give him his insulin injection twice each day. Lindsay handled all of their medicine with no trouble and gave both of them loving care. Joy is almost blind and deaf so she needs a lot of extra help getting around. She also needs a lot of encouragement to eat all of her food. Lindsay texted me pictures of Joy in the "clean bowl club" which was very reassuring. When we met Lindsay the first time, I could tell right away that she would be very conscientious about taking care of our dogs and giving their medicine correctly. Our dogs were happy, healthy and content when we returned home. Lindsay also took care of our home and she left everything tidy and put away. I will definitely hire Lindsay again for our next vacation and have already recommended her to several neighborhood friends.

We were happy to have Lindsay take great care of our dog while we were on vacation. Her communication was excellent and everything went as planned. We wouldn't hesitate to book Lindsay in the future!
