Because I work from home - I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to truly prioritize the pets in my care. I’m able to plan my day around their walks, meals, playtime, and companionship, rather than trying to fit them in between long stretches away. This means lots of attention, consistency, and a calm presence throughout the day so your pet feels comfortable and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort in their home is always my top priority. I treat your space and your animals with the same care I give my own — being mindful about secure doors and leashes, following feeding and medication instructions closely, and keeping the environment clean, calm, and low-stress. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being so you can travel knowing they’re safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for.
Information Lindsay F. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pet, I love learning about their daily routine, energy level, personality, and any specific preferences or sensitivities. It’s helpful to know how they do with new people, other animals, loud noises, or being left alone. Please also share feeding schedules, medications, favorite toys, triggers, and any quirks that make them uniquely them. The more I know ahead of time, the more seamlessly I can step into their world and help everything feel safe, familiar, and stress-free while you’re away.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For active dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, light runs, playtime at the park, or engaging games that keep them mentally and physically stimulated. For senior dogs or lower-energy pets, I focus on slower strolls, gentle movement, enrichment toys, and lots of cozy companionship. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wand toys or lasers, brushing (if they enjoy it), and creating calm moments of connection at their pace. Whether it’s playtime, outdoor adventures, or quiet cuddles, I always aim to keep pets engaged, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine.

Cat care experience
Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly love getting to know each of their unique personalities — from the affectionate lap cats to the shy, observant ones who take their time deciding if you’re trustworthy. For over 15 years I’ve been the go-to for friends and family when they need drop-ins and check-ins, and I’m very comfortable following detailed feeding, litter, and care routines. Caring for cats in their own home allows everything to stay familiar — their territory, their favorite sleeping spots, their window views, and their normal schedule. I bring a calm, gentle presence and always move at the cat’s pace, so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m attentive to the small but important details like keeping litter boxes fresh, refreshing water, monitoring appetite and behavior, and sending thoughtful updates so you can have total peace of mind. I’m also experienced with senior cats and comfortable giving most medications in non-injectable form. My goal is always for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and a home that feels just as you left it.
Reviews

Lindsay was absolutely wonderful with Dylan. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention during her visit. Dylan can be a sensitive guy, and it meant so much to know he was in such kind and capable hands while I was away. She was thoughtful, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I came away feeling completely at ease knowing Dylan had been so well looked after. I would trust Lindsay with him anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets.

Thanks Lindsay for pet sitting in our home and sending photos of our dear Scamp! And thanks for your flexibility in scheduling.

Lindsay’s care and connection with my pets is truly so special. I feel completely at ease leaving town knowing they’re in such loving, attentive hands while I’m away. It’s obvious how much she genuinely cares for animals, and my pets are always calm, happy, and loved when they’re with her.

Lindsay couldn’t have been a better dog sitter to our big and little guy! She was super responsive and flexible with our changing schedule. She administered meds for our old dog and was patient and loving with our puppy. The house was immaculate when we got home and the dogs sleepy after a long walk! So glad we found her! 💖
