Future Dog Trainer+Animal Counselor
💗 Experienced, Compassionate Pet Care From Someone Who Truly Understands Animals 💗 Hi! My name is Lindsay, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for over 9 years. What started as something I naturally loved doing for family, friends, neighbors, and their pets has grown into my full-time passion and business, Pawley’s Pet Services. I’m currently continuing my education and training to become a dog trainer and intuitive animal counselor, which has given me an even deeper interest in understanding animals not just physically, but emotionally and behaviorally as well. I love taking the time to learn who each pet truly is — their personality, communication style, routines, fears, favorite activities, and what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, including energetic puppies, large dogs, senior pets, shy or anxious animals, rescue pets, and multi-pet households. 🐶 Puppies & Young Dogs I understand how much attention and consistency puppies need. I’m happy to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, exercise, feeding according to schedule, and plenty of one-on-one attention while helping maintain their normal routine. 🐕 Senior Dogs Senior pets deserve patience, gentleness, and extra understanding. I’m comfortable adapting walks and activities to their energy levels, providing companionship, following medication instructions when needed, and making sure they remain comfortable and cared for. 🐱 Cats & Kittens I absolutely love cats, too! I’m comfortable caring for kittens, senior cats, shy cats, independent cats, and cats who need medication or additional attention. Whether your cat wants interactive play, enrichment, cuddles, or simply someone nearby for quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they are. 🐾 Large & Multiple Pets I’m very comfortable with larger dogs and have personally had experience caring for multiple large dogs at once. I’m also experienced with multi-pet households and understand the importance of giving each animal individual attention while keeping everyone’s routines consistent. 💊 Medication & Special Care I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and administering oral medications to dogs and cats when needed. I understand that some pets require additional patience, monitoring, or specialized routines, and I’m happy to discuss their individual needs during a meet & greet. My experience includes: • Dog walking and exercise • Drop-in visits • Overnight/in-home pet sitting • Puppy and senior pet care • Cat and kitten care • Oral medication administration • Feeding and medication schedules • Potty breaks and enrichment • Caring for multiple pets • Large and energetic dogs • Shy, anxious, and rescue animals • Maintaining pets’ normal routines • Frequent photo and video updates One of the most important parts of my care is getting to know each animal as an individual. I don’t believe there is one perfect approach to every pet. Some animals want constant play and attention, while others need space, patience, and time to warm up. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior so I can meet them where they are. My training in dog behavior and intuitive animal counseling is something I’m especially passionate about because I want to understand the why behind an animal’s behavior rather than simply reacting to it. I’m always learning more about canine behavior, communication, enrichment, and the emotional needs of animals so I can continue providing better care. 📸 You’ll Never Have to Wonder How Your Pets Are Doing I send regular photo and video updates throughout my visits and stays. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re safe, happy, loved, and receiving plenty of attention. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I also treat your space with respect. I’m happy to follow household routines and instructions, bring in mail or packages, water plants, and help make sure everything is secure while you’re away. My goal isn’t simply to be the person who feeds your pets while you’re gone. I want to become someone your pets recognize, trust, and genuinely enjoy seeing — and someone you feel comfortable calling whenever you need dependable care. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members and learn what makes them special. 💗

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, understood, and loved while their families are away. For dogs, this can include walks, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, playtime, feeding according to their schedule, fresh water, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For cats, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box care, medication when needed, playtime, enrichment, or quiet companionship depending on their personality. I’m currently studying to become a dog trainer and intuitive animal counselor, so I pay close attention to animal behavior and body language. I believe understanding why an animal is behaving a certain way is an important part of providing good care. I’m patient with shy, nervous, anxious, energetic, senior, and rescue animals and always allow them to adjust at their own pace. A Note About Meet & Greets and Overnight Stays: For safety reasons, my fiancé, Bradley, normally accompanies me to my meet & greets and stays with me for every overnight pet-sitting booking. This is an important part of my personal safety policy when I’m staying in a client’s home while they’re away. I want to be completely transparent about this upfront so every family knows who may be present in their home. Bradley is my fiancé and safety companion, while I remain the primary person responsible for your pets and their care. I’m always happy to discuss this with you before booking and make sure everyone is comfortable with the arrangement. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routines and respect their space and belongings. I’m also happy to follow household instructions, bring in mail or packages, water plants, and help keep the home secure while you’re away. I send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pets are doing and feel confident that they’re receiving the care and attention they deserve. I want your pets to feel comfortable and cared for in their own home while giving you peace of mind that they’re in loving, attentive hands.

Schedule
Pet care is more than just a job to me—it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about and dedicate my time to every day. I run my own pet-care business, so caring for animals is a major part of my daily routine. I’m currently building my experience while studying to become a dog trainer and intuitive animal counselor, and I love being able to apply what I’m learning to the pets I care for. My schedule is flexible and I’m often able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and overnight/in-home care depending on my existing bookings. I do keep a limited number of bookings at a time so that I can give each pet the individual attention they deserve rather than overbooking myself. I’m especially interested in building long-term relationships with families who need recurring walks, drop-ins, or regular pet care. I’m happy to discuss availability in advance and work with each family to find a routine that works well for both them and their pets.

- As a huge animal lover, I want to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! Before our stay together, I’d love to know: • Your pet’s name, age, breed, and personality • Their normal feeding schedule and portions • Walk, potty, and exercise routines • Favorite toys, activities, treats, and ways they like to play • Any medications, allergies, medical conditions, or special needs • Any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of • How they typically react to new people or changes in routine • How they interact with other animals, people, children, or strangers • Their sleeping arrangements and normal nighttime routine • Any commands, training cues, or house rules they’re used to • Emergency contact and veterinarian information • Anything that helps your pet feel safe, calm, and comfortable I’m always happy to receive detailed instructions! The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can understand their needs and keep their routine as normal as possible. Every animal is different, and I want to care for them as an individual rather than assuming the same approach works for every pet. 🩷
