I have always helped family members take care of pets. Around the age of 14, it became my responsibility to feed, bathe, clean up after, and provide general ownership of our family pets. I learned basic animal care from my parents, grandparents, uncle, and aunt, who was a vet tech and groomer. I am blessed to have the ability to communicate with animals, especially dogs. I volunteer with three dog rescues and a small pet rescue, by transporting, fostering, making blankets, fundraising, and provide any additional necessary assistance. Transporting and fostering are two instances of high flight risks, as the animals are stressed, in unfamiliar environments, and are usually quite nervous. I employ double safety precautions during these times, and I would do the same while caring for your beloved pet.
