I only provide pet care at client’s home because I have three cats of my own at home who don’t like to share! I follow all instructions established by owners as to feeding, play time, safety, monitoring health concerns, etc. I keep records for each pet as to their daily activities, food and water, bathroom, energy levels, medications given, and anything else requested, including photos and regular check-ins with clients if requested.

How are your pets alone? Any separation anxiety? What helps them feel comfortable around new people? What is their established daily routine? I like to do my best to interrupt pets’ normal daily rhythms as much as possible to keep the stress of change low.

Feeding, walking, treats, brushing, playtime! We can arrange a schedule and activities that are catered to the needs of the pet and request of the owners.

Pet care experience
I previously worked as a vet assistant at a clinic in Issaquah and I have a veterinary assistant certification from Pima. I’m trained in dog and cat care, including administering medication, walks and play time, feeding and basic grooming. I am Fear Free certified and use interaction and handling techniques designed to reduce stress and fear. I pride myself on providing reliable and professional care.

Lindsay was a great cat sitter who took detailed notes during the meet and greet. She gave helpful updates and sent lots of photos. There was an issue with opening up the lockbox to get the keys and she was very understanding and had great communication while we figured out an alternative solution. I also messed up the schedule when booking and she was extremely accommodating and was able to help out past the initial booking dates. Highly recommend her!
