Information Lindsay B. would like to know about your pet

If they have a certain routine, aggression issues or tiggers, anxiety, special needs or medical issues, and if any allergies or medications. Need to know if jump fences or escape artist! Primary Animal Hospital, and permission to take to ER in case of emergency knowing cost of care is much higher. I am a experienced veterinary nurse not a doctor and require one in certain situations, this is rare but in emergency situations time is not always on our side and I want to be proactive in the case a quick decision needs to be made without an owner present and unable to reach. I will always call you with any problems medical and non-medical.

A typical day

Go on walks if wanted, play time like throwing ball or with toys, sleep together, hang out and watch tv, food, fresh water. Outside together in the backyard.

Experienced Vet Tech & Pet Sitter

Pet care experience

Since 14 years old I've cared for animals. I started out working on a horse farm for 5 years caring for the farm animals. I worked at a dog daycare the summer of 2015. I was a veterinary technician for Dr. Horn, the Veterinary Care Center for 12.5 years (2008 -2021). Working for a vet who also cared for exotic pets, I have a medical background with them and care for a variety of exotic pets. I can administer medication, give injections, and subcutaneous fluids (I can also teach you these for at home medical care). As well as nail trims, analgland expressions, and ear cleanings. My sister Jamie has a criminal justice degree and helps me pet sit when needed. She learned from me for years and has become very knowledgeable with pet care and their health. She too worked on the horse farm and now has years of experience pet sitting with me. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.

Lindsay is amazing as both a person and a pet sitter. First off, she is the nicest person you will meet. Our pup, Rex, had cancer and we were so stressed to have to travel as his condition was unpredictable. Lindsay was so caring and understanding towards our situation. The first time she walked in to meet my dogs she had her stethoscope with her in case she needed to listen to our dogs lungs (he had lung cancer), I was so impressed. While we were gone we got updates daily. I am so happy I found Lindsay and even happier to now have a new friendship with her.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing! She did a meet and greet with us before we booked our trip, and replied so quickly. She sent us daily updates and photos, and took such great care of Lena while we were away. We felt so comfortable leaving our special needs dog in her care. We will absolutely ask her to care for Lena again!

I adopted my dog Kira this year who has a rare esophagus disorder. She has numerous challenges with this condition and I knew I would never find a boarding facility that could properly and safely care for her if I traveled. I became depressed, rarely leaving or having an afternoon out without rushing home to care for her. When I discovered Lindsay on Rover.com and learned that she was a vet tech, I finally had some hope that I found a dogsitter that could care for my special needs girl. Lindsay watched Kira on an overnight stay and I'm thrilled and so grateful for the wonderful care she received! I knew upon meeting Lindsay, that Kira would be in safe hands. She sent updates and photos throughout the day...Kira was so well taken care of and enjoyed her stay. I'm so thankful to you Lindsay...you've made a world of difference for Kira and I. 💜🩷

My pup got along great with her dogs. She gave him love and attention when the other dogs were done playing but he still wanted more! I enjoyed the picture updates.
