Active walker former doodle owner
As a child, my family raised and bred lab retrievers. I’ve always had dogs, and I recently said goodbye to my forever best friend Oakley, a 15 year old labradoodle. Her love inspired my desire to care for more pets in my life. I worked for 8 years at Walt Disney World in Orlando right after college. When my health took a severe hit, I returned to my home in WI to receive help from family. It was there that I rediscovered the importance of animals. My Oakley brought me the brightest joy to lift me through the darkest times. Although I couldn’t care for multiple pets of my own, I found that I could arrange doggy play dates for myself and Oakley while also helping others through rover. It was a perfect match! I currently live in a small apartment back in Orlando, so my services will be limited to visits and walks. But I am also available for house sitting.

If booking for a house sitting adventure, I can adapt to the schedule and requirements of the homeowner’s request. In my home, it was their world and they were allowed everywhere. But I understand that every family has their rules and restrictions, so I follow the guidelines given to me when caring for your pet to keep them on their routine and make our stay together comfortable.

I was nervous leaving my 3 month old puppy Riley for the 1st time. Lindsay texted me with updates, sent pictures & even videos of Riley and her dog Oakley playing together! Of which put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Lindsay and will use her services again!

Schedule
I primarily work as a seasonal swim coach, with short 1-2 hour shifts. Otherwise, I have schedule flexibility to walk and perform visits when needed.

- I treat each walk with the pet as if it’s their special adventure. I allow them to roam and sniff and discover the outside world at their pace. I will provide a structured walk if the client prefers that for training or obedience purposes. I just love how happy the dogs become when they can follow their wandering curiosity rather than a direct route.
