🐾 Are you in search of the perfect dog sitter who will provide your furry friend with exceptional care and love? Look no further! 🐶 Aaron works from home full time & I have a very flexible schedule to take breaks for walks and check-ins. Together, we ensure your pup is happy, safe and well loved while you’re away! Having my own 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel, I understand feeling at peace when you’re traveling without your pup. After having 3 dogs of different breeds, I understand the unique needs and quirks of our four-legged friends. I have volunteered at humane societies & ASPCAs, so I’m very familiar with different temperaments and animal control. I love making homemade dog treats & taking leisure walks around the Georgetown waterfront and rock creek park so your dog will enjoy plenty of exciting outdoor adventures with me. And will be feed my yummy dog treats (if allowed, of course). Most importantly, I understand the trust placed in caring for your dog, so it’s important I treat them as my own providing a safe space filled with snuggles and attention while you’re away.

Aaron took amazing care of our pup. We received regular updates without needing to ask, and they were always great pics and entertaining. Our dog clearly had the best time and was well cared for - we would recommend Aaron 100 times out of 100!
Aaron took good care of Baxster. He took him on long walks and shared pics. We would schedule a doggy sitting day again with Aaron.
Lindsay and Aaron took such good care of Leo! They sent daily updates and were flexible with scheduling.
Lindsay and Aaron did a wonderful job watching my senior pup! They sent lots of update photos throughout her stay, communicated often, and were accommodating to her schedule. My dog seemed very comfortable at their place, and I will continue to book with them for future dog boarding needs.

Schedule
I work from home M-F and am totally flexible to take the dogs out for walks or to dog parks to maintain their familiar routine throughout the day. Aaron works from home fully remote. If you have an older dog or puppy I can take them out as needed. I live in a really quiet neighborhood in Glover park. I usually take my dog out 3-4 times per day for 25-30 mins.

Safety, trust & environment
Building has a unfenced yard and several other grassy areas in my neighborhood that the pups can stretch their legs and burn some energy. I’m pretty accommodating to the needs of your family and dog as long as it’s communicated. I have a senior dog who stays to herself but if your dog doesn’t do to well with others, I can make arrangements so she isn’t here during your pups stay. I welcome any mats, toys, crates or pads that make your dog feel more at ease. Please let know of any behaviors I should be aware of and try to communicate as much as you can about your furry friend so we can all enjoy their stay while here! Please also make sure your dog is up to date on at least rabies. Though I’m new to Rover, I have clients who who can provide references for me :)
A typical day
Around my neck of woods, some days we are early riser and some days we like to sleep in and just have a slow morning. Either way we love outdoor activities , playing catch around the house & visiting new trails around the city. Living across the national cathedral has its perks since I can head over whenever we all need some fresh air.
