I have always had animals in my life. I have kept many family members, neighbors and friends pets while they travel. Also kept senior's pets in my home while they were hospitalized in the retirement community that I retired from. I like to walk and enjoy getting in my steps with the company. Dogs are so happy to get out and about. I live on a farm on the edge of Alamance County. And being retired I have a very flexible schedule. I had one dog for 3 months while the owner recouped in our rehab center. I took the dog with me to work each day and after their lunch, i carried the dog to the center to visit the owner for a couple of hours and then returned to pick her up and bring her home. I'm sure this enhanced her recovery!
