I am a retired registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals and years of hands-on experience caring for my own dogs and cats, including senior pets and those with medical needs. My nursing background makes me very comfortable giving oral medications, insulin injections, eye drops, and monitoring pets after surgery or illness. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to care for their pets while they travel, especially pets who need extra patience, gentle handling, or medication on a schedule. I have experience with senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who do best in a quiet, calm environment. I offer a peaceful home setting with plenty of supervision, outdoor time, and a consistent routine. I only take a small number of pets at a time so each animal receives individual attention and feels safe and relaxed. Safety is very important to me. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care plans provided by the owner or veterinarian. I also provide updates so you feel comfortable and confident while you are away. My goal is to give your pet the same compassionate, reliable care I would want for my own.

I tailor activities to each pet’s comfort and energy level. Dogs enjoy relaxed walks, secure outdoor time, gentle play, and companionship. Senior dogs receive shorter walks and quiet enrichment. Cats get interactive toys, brushing if they like it, and calm one-on-one attention. My focus is on safe, low-stress fun that keeps pets happy and comfortable.
