Pet care experience

your pet next bestie 💓

I’m an experienced house and pet sitter with multiple 5-star reviews from previous pet-sitting experiences. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and homes in NYC and beyond, and I’m excited to bring that same reliable, attentive care to Rover! I’ve had my big baby boy “Rocky”; German shepherd dog for 15 years, so I have a lot of experience and comfortable taking care of and handling big and reactive dogs. I also grew up with Stella (a small Chihuahua mix) and Sesame and Leo (2 cats ) so I also have experience with cats and smaller dogs and still sit with them when I visit my mom back in California! I love all animals tho; if an opportunity came to take care of an animal other than a cat or a dog I’d be happy to learn and sit with them! :)

Safety, trust & environment

I make sure to gain their trust on their own terms, letting them approach me when they feel ready and comfortable. Then I give them lots of affection and attention while following my client’s directions. I’m always attentive to how your pet feels and behaves and will keep you updated as you’d like.

Schedule

I am a freelance editorial art director. I only do sits when I know I’m working from home or between projects, since spending time with animals genuinely makes me happy until it’s the right time for me to have my own again.

Please let me know about your pet's personality and routine before their stay or visit. For dogs, it's especially helpful to know their temperament, how they behave around other dogs and people on walks, and if they have any triggers. I have plenty of experience working with reactive dogs, but it's always best to know ahead of time so I can keep everyone safe and make your dog as comfortable as possible. For cats, I always follow their lead. In my experience, some cats prefer a little space at first before they warm up, while others are total velcro cats and want to be by your side from the start. Either way, I'll respect their personality and make sure we have a great time together while they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
