Pet care experience
Reliable, sweet & affordable care
Hello! I am a postdoctoral researcher and I'm currently training toward becoming an art therapist. I'm organised, reliable, responsible, and deeply empathetic. I currently work from home, so I am mobile. I have lots of free time, and even more love, patience, and affection for cats. I have experience with fostering cats, including a senior cat that I fell absolutely in love with and ended up adopting and sharing life with until his final days. It's been nearly four years since his passing now, at the ripe age of 18, but I still miss him dearly. I'm not currently at a place in life where it'd be the best to have a cat of my own, but I've become a go-to cat sitter for my friends and colleagues here in Cambridge. I know it’s a big deal to put your furry friends in someone else’s care. I prioritise clear and quick communication with you to make sure you can travel with ease knowing your pets are in safe hands :)
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I make sure all windows/doors/problematic spaces that we've discussed are inaccessible to the pets. I will respect your home and everything within it! I will only enter spaces relevant to the pets (e.g. where you keep the litter box, food, supplies, and so on). When cleaning litter boxes, I also make sure to keep the surrounding area tidy as well - sweeping up any litter, fur, and so on. I can also water or check-in on any plant babies! In buildings with shared access, I'll make sure I'm not tailgated into the community.
Ratings and reviews
Very tidy and loving to the pets! Organised and easy to reach, wouldn't hesitate to find her again!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I'm currently working part-time and from home, so I am mobile and flexible in terms of time and locations, as long as it is cycle-able distance for me. I will be able to give your furry friends as much or as little care as they want/need.
