Linda is the best! And we have been fortunate to find many great people to help us with our family dog over the years. Linda is very caring and careful, and our dog Joysee appreciated it like we did!

Linda was amazing. She took Ella Mae in during Christmas time so I could spend time staying at my mother in law’s house in the Dallas suburbs. She gave excellent care and specializes in small breeds. Ella Mae was well cared for and I would wholeheartedly recommend her and hope to use her services again. Thank you Linda for your help during the holidays. You were truly appreciated and your own little dog is ...

I have known Linda Osteen for several years
and I would highly recommend her both as a
Pet Sitter and a Pet Walker. She has not only
owned several dogs of her own and given them
excellent care, she has also been a Foster Parent
for several dogs as well plus been involved in
Dog rescues and dog volunteering st several
local Shelters in the Community.. Linda has
also Handled and Shown several dogs . Excellent.

Home Full Time for Puppy Love!

Hi, I’m Linda. Ever since I was a child, I’ve owned pets. In 2001, I became a registered AKC (American Kennel Club) handler am currently involved with various dog rescue organizations where I help canines find permanent homes. After retiring from the corporate world, I began working part-time for Home Instead, and then Visiting Angels. Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to pet sit and foster dogs. It’s ...

What Linda would like to know about your dog

I prefer small or toy breeds and will not board puppies as I enjoy my sleep too much! I require your pet’s vaccination record and current veterinarian information. It would also be helpful to know if your dog has any special needs such as dietary restrictions, exercise requirements, or medications. Is your pet leash trained, house trained, or crate trained? What is their energy level like? Do they have anxiety or other behavioral issues? Do they enjoy car rides? What is your pup’s favorite park?

When Linda watches your pet

As an experienced pet sitter, I believe in giving the dog or cat their own space upon our first interaction. Separation and unfamiliarity can lead to anxiety issues, so I try to be patient until they’re used to me. I’ll start by feeding your pet and would like to provide them with an item you’ve brought from home so that they’re comforted by a familiar scent. Next, I’ll start talking to them in a soothing, encouraging voice.

We’ll go on two to three walks each day. On our walks, I won’t allow anyone to approach or pet your dog. Under my care, your pet will have regular meals, plenty of water, adequate exercise, and get lots of attention from me. If your pup is triggered by storms or other loud noises, I’ll offer them a toy to make them more comfortable. As a retiree, my schedule is flexible and open for pet care.
