You Leave Em, We Love Them!

Pet care experience

I'm a dog lover; its simple. I started dog sitting when I was seven and it never gets old. I believe in giving them as much love as they give us. We give our animals the love and space they need to feel safe and secure. If you have questions or personal requests for your dog, please send me a message. I started with Rover as a way to help pay for college. I am currently taking 3 classes and just started working full time again (Monday-Friday). We do frequent walks and trips to the dog park near by. We have lots of toys and I make dog treats all the time. I adore dogs of any size and age! I'm a positive reinforcement dog-handler. Your dog will have open access to my house and furniture unless you specify otherwise. I have worked in the medical field for 15+ years and feel comfortable giving medications and injections. Safety is a top priority for us. While we have big dogs and little dogs we use a fence to divide the house in half to make sure that everyone is safe. There are times when big dogs and little dogs do well together and then they can be together while supervised. We have had times that we have had a tiny dog while we have 2-3 large or giant dogs and we keep the tiny dog in a room with the bedroom door closed and the gate closed with a personal caretaker. My boys fight over the tiny dogs and love snuggling them, so they will never be left alone. If there is a size difference or personality difference we will walk these dogs separately and use different entrances to keep the dogs separated. During the stay we work as a family to play and work with the dogs! I have 3 boys that are between the ages of 10-14, but ultimately I am the primary caretaker and take full responsibility for the safety of the boys and the dogs! If we ever need to leave the dogs alone the dogs that are kennel trained will be kenneled while the others will be separated to insure their safety. Depending on how the dogs do together I take them all with me while I drive my kids to school, sports and friends houses which they have loved thus far! If we have to leave dogs alone we will always make you aware as it rarely happens. We've taken dogs to the Las Vegas Airport, grocery shopping, to visit grandma and football practice just to name a few.
