Hi! My husband (Joe) and I are both graduate students, we both have part time jobs that is a hybrid, mainly WFH (work from home) situation. We have a poodle mix and corgi boys, both born in 2020; Kobe & Remy (Kemy for short). We also recently foster failed a puppy, Toffee! He is a puppy bernedoodle. He is the newest member to our family. We are fosters to a local rescue, so we have experience with dogs coming in and out of the house. We are home almost all the time, so potty time is approximately every 2-3 hours in our yard. We go on walks in our neighborhood but sometime do go to a park nearby to get in a longer walk.

Linda and Joe were amazing with Saint! We were nervous about using Rover for the first time, especially since dachshunds have a special personality. They eased our minds, having had previous experience with dachshunds and being aware of IVDD risks. They sent lots of photos and updates. Plenty of space for our pup and their own fur babies. Huge outdoor yard to play. Easy, smooth drop off and pick up. Honestly looked like he made himself at home. 10/10 would recommend.
This family was super flexible and maintained good communication throughout our baby’s stay. It was his first time not staying with a family member so I was very nervous, but would definitely book again !

We absolutely love this dog sitter and have used them several times in the past. They treat Lucky like family, and it truly shows every time. We always feel completely at ease knowing Lucky is in such caring, loving hands. Coming back to a happy, relaxed Lucky means everything to us. Highly, highly recommend!

Schedule
Our day begins at around 8am where our dogs are let out to potty and have breakfast and they usually nap afterward for a few hours. Dinner is around 6:30/7pm, after they get their walk. Our dogs are always free to roam around the house, but they are usually in their favorite spots in the house.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced yard in our home that is quite large for your pups to play and run around in! We are home often so potty breaks are every 2-3 hours in the yard. As dog parents ourselves that also use Rover, we understand the effort and time it takes to find someone who is a good fit for both the pet and the pet parent. We strive to provide the same care we give our own beloved dogs to the dogs that stay with us. We love to get picture updates of our pups while we are away and would love to do the same for our fellow pup parents.

A typical day
We usually go on daily walks in the evening (weather permitting) on the weekdays. On the weekends, we go to a park nearby to walk for a longer period of time to mentally stimulate our pups.
