Safety, trust & environment

The comfort and care of your pet in your home is my #1 priority. I’ve often cared for an animal for most of their lifespan. They become my furever friends.

Information Linda F. would like to know about your pet

I have an extensive checklist of questions that are discussed at the meet and greet before the 1st visit with a pet. I love all breeds. Each has its own nuances. I must admit that the Basset Hound holds a special place in my heart since I was a proud Basset Mom for many years.

A typical day

I always ask the client about safe areas to walk. Some neighbor dogs clash so we avoid those interactions. I'm all about the fun. Drop in visits are action packed. I believe an exercised dog is a happy dog. Again, I check with the client to see what their pet enjoys most.

Pets Are People Too!

Pet care experience

I've always been a pet advocate. My last 4 canine cuddlers were rescues. I’ve lived in the West Highlands near historic Tennyson Street for 20+ years and know all the best sniff spots. I took a hiatus from Rover to create activity for Alzheimer’s residents in a Retirement Community for a few years. While this was rewarding work, I knew, one day, I would return to my furry friends. My Husband encouraged me to re-em...bark! (pun intended), on my path of true joy. Hence, my return to Rover where my motto has always been…Pets Are People Too! When critters are in my care, they are treated with respect and love, just like one of the family. At the end of the visit I leave them with a wagging tail and a question for Mom or Dad.... "When is Linda coming back?" You know your services are exceptional when a client states, "If I'm reincarnated, I'd like to come back as one of you're fur babies." Rest assured, The time spent with your pet will be filled with frolicking fun, games of hide and seek and an abundance of hugs, cuddles and kisses. I'm a Lone Sitter,,, Which means, I am the only person who will enter your home. I will always respect your privacy. This is my full time job and I take it very seriously.
