Pet care experience
Fellow Dog Mom & Rescue Trainer
I grew up as the main caretaker and trainer for two rescue dogs, and I've spent the last eight years in San Francisco caring for pups, from a tiny 6lb Maltese to a full-size 130lb Great Dane. I am available for house sits and boarding (I also offer a backyard.) I know how stressful it is to plan a trip around your dog; my own travel experiences started my pet care journey. Rest assured I plan ahead, send updates, and follow your instructions so that when you hear that "Linda is coming," you have 100% peace of mind. At heart, I'm a training nerd who loves connecting with dogs. I'm great with: -Anxious, reactive, or rescue pups with a rough past -Active dogs who need real exercise; I love being outside and will keep your pup moving whether at the beach, running around in the city, gallivanting to the park... -Dogs who need to practice drills while the owner is away (loose leash walking, remaining calm, desensitization etc.) Lastly, I'm a veteran with socializing dogsIf your dog wants a friendly sidekick, I bring my social Labrador-mix to sits for some extra socialization. Click through our photos for all the dog friends we've made along the way! Lastly, thank you for reading this bio; working with dogs is a childhood dream and it shows in my reviews; thank you for trusting me withy our pup and making it come true.

Linda was beyond excellent with our dog, Greer! She kept us updated the full week we were gone, did lots of training with Greer, and made sure our house was spotless when she left. We are so thankful we found Linda—leaving our dog is stressful but we didnt worry for a minute knowing she was with Linda.

Linda took such great care of my pup! She was so responsive and shared so many pics and updates. Penny loved staying with Linda and her pup and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone. She even helped with Pennys leash training :)

Linda is always communicative and kind. I never worry about leaving Beanie with her.

Linda is always stellar. She is enthusiastic and so kind every time she stays with Beans. She is communicative and sends lots of photos, always reassuring us when we are away.

Linda is amazing. I’ve never had a better sitter — she was able to deal with some hectic changes to schedule and took care of the dogs with great love and care. Very grateful to her.

Linda provides so many great photos and comments. She was so attentive to beans and her needs as well as caring for the apartment. I always feel confident that Beans will be taken care of and I don’t have to worry.

Schedule
I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays (and offer additional flexibility according to how early you book in advance) so I can keep a keen eye on the animals during the day including playtime and midday walks. Usually I’m awake by 7am and take my own pup for a walk and a meal. During the workday I’m able to monitor the pups. After normal work hours, I take the animals out for fresh air and exercise for both animal and pup. Structured days are healthy days!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’m able to attune to the animals needs during the workday especially if they are boarding at my house. While raising my own dog, I fit in playtime and walks during the day, as well as a minimum of two walks a day.

A typical day
A typical day would consist of a morning walk and evening walk lasting at least 30 minutes. Scattered throughout the day your pup will have plenty of training opportunities with treats and interaction as needed.
