Information Linda E. would like to know about your pet

I would prefer small, well-behaved dogs who will get along with my little fur babies. It is not a good fit if a "camper" is hyperactive, food aggressive, or territorial. I also would prefer to bring dogs into my home who are under 20 pounds.

A typical day

Sometimes campers meet here and form fast friendships. It is an ideal situation to provide single dogs with appropriate socialization. A well-socialized dog is happier and less reactive to strange dogs in the world around them.

Pet care experience

I have been a dog mom for over forty years. I have had big dogs, small dogs, and in between dogs. I picked up most of my knowledge about what it takes to have happy pups during my years in the dog show ring and in obedience trials. I am a certified dog trainer, but now that I'm officially "retired" I just want to rescue abandoned and mistreated dogs and give them a happy life. I've been rescuing for close to twenty years, and my greatest joy comes from my rescued Shih Tzu who is now a therapy dog!! I am home all day every day to provide your well behaved fur baby with tons of love and attention. If you are interested in training, I can do that as well. I use only positive reinforcement methods and dogs love to play our "games".
