Pet care experience
Love all animals like my own
I have been walking and loving on dogs at the Humane Society for 7 years. I have taken shelter dogs to training classes for basic obedience and AKC Good Citizen. I use click and treat to reward good behavior, like sitting on command and walking nicely on leash. I started out walking a neighbor's pet for free and now dog walking is my preferred form of exercise. It keeps me from becoming a "couch potato"! My cats are my children. They follow me around the house and bring me toys when they want attention. I have adopted five kitties over 35 years. Sabrina was adopted 2 years ago. She was so frightened of "everything" that she would bolt at the slightest sound. Today she is serene and accepts hugs and kisses without objection. Retirement allows me plenty of time to pet sit or to walk your dog. I enjoy the time with your pet each and every time. Weekends, weekdays or holidays are all good! This is not a service that I provide because I have 2 cats. In my experience, cats and dogs don't mix well, and so I don't attempt boarding.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Most care takes place in the client's home. I walk dogs 2 or 3 times a day, depending on their usual routine. I take dogs that I've brought home for long walks. They need to be socialized for interaction with my cat. Only calm animals are invited into my house. Only one dog at a time.
Ratings and reviews
We came home from a week vacation to a very happy dog and my flowers survived the extreme heat. Thanks to Linda for taking the time to take care of them as well. And always looked forward to the pictures and updates while we were gone.

Linda did above and beyond her job description. I had a lot of flowers that needed to be watered while I was gone and she did an awesome job. Charlie looks happy.

Linda was great! She came over every evening for 5 days to stay with our two beagles, walked them, gave them treats and cuddled with them. She took great care of our boys. And the house was spotless when we returned. Thanks Linda!

Linda's great!

Linda took great care of our Cocker Spaniel, Lucy! She updated us via text and with pictures. We would definitely use Linda again! Thank you!
