Linda's Pet Sitting
I have been a pet lover my entire life. Growing up, we always had dogs, cats, aquariums and canaries. I have had the pleasure of having several generations of yorkies in my life. My last little Rosie lived for 17 years and enjoyed a loving and pampered life. I love all animals and would care for your pet as if it were my own. I live in a small antique house located a couple of blocks from the Merrimack River. There is a beautiful walking path close to my home that welcomes dog walkers. I have a small brick paved yard that is fenced and secure.Your pet will be pampered and spoiled in my care. We love to go to the beach and have close access to a great dog friendly beach as well as the dog park down the street. In addition to being a pet sitter, I am a realtor, cooking coach and recipe tester. I spend a lot of time in my kitchen which is adjacent to my enclosed yard. Most pets like to be close to me so I always seem to have company when I am cooking. Your pet will feel safe and loved in my home. I know from personal experience how important it is to know your pet will receive the special care and love that they are accustomed to at home. Please note that there may be extra charge for holidays and time after 24 hour period. Custom quotes available.

Ratings and reviews
I’m delighted to recommend Linda as a wonderful dog sitter. She cared for our dog with such genuine affection and responsibility that we were completely at ease while away. From the start, Linda took the time to get to know our dog’s routine, preferences, and quirks. She made sure our dog was not only well-fed and exercised but also loved and entertained. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s clear that Linda truly loves animals and treats them like family. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly bonded with her —the best sign of all! I would wholeheartedly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Linda was fantastic. She allowed Snowball to sleep in bed and showed her lots of love. She sent photos of Snowball enjoying her patio and lovely home. I would highly recommend Linda.

Linda is so personable and caring, we will definitely use her again.

Linda was excellent with Rosie! Rosie is 17 years old and her age can be tricky. Linda was very accommodating and I knew Rosie was in great hands once I dropped her off. When I picked Rosie up she almost didn't want to leave that's how happy she was with Linda. I would highly recommend her and will be reach out to her again!
Linda is wonderful! She took excellent care of our 12 year old dachshund min pin mix while we were away for the week. She treated him as if he was her own and even let him sleep in the bed with her like he is used to doing. We are so thankful we found her. Our dog is older and doesn’t like to play with other dogs in a kennel setting. Being the only dog with Linda for the week was the best experience. He stayed with Linda last summer for a long weekend and when we brought him to her house to watch him again in April, he was wagging his tail when we arrived and made himself at home. It is so nice to be able to leave him in her care and not have to worry about him while we are away. She even got him a new toy!

Linda was very nice and took great care of our dog Dexter. She has a nice, cozy and safe space outside for lounging in the sun/shade. I believe he enjoyed his stay and was meant to feel right at home - allowed to go on couches and bed.

Schedule
I do work as a realtor but mostly from home. When I do leave your pets will be safe with run of the kitchen and dining room. Otherwise they will be by my side.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I am home most of the time and never more than 2 hours a day away. I have a secure fenced in yard and of course will provide several walks a day. I prefer a small dogs that are hopefully trained to do their business outside but having had Yorkies for years I know there are occasional accidents. I will provide them with loving care and lots of hugs and kisses always.
A typical day
As soon as we are all awake we will go out to my patio to take care of business. Back in the house for breakfast and then out for the first of many walks of the day. Newburyport has many wonderful places to walk that are very close to me. I am one block from Cashman Park so we will likely visit there a couple of times a day.
