Safety, trust & environment
I know it can feel overwhelming for a pup to meet someone new or adjust to a different environment. That’s why I take the time to read their body language and pay attention to their unique cues, so I can better understand how they’re feeling. By approaching them with patience, empathy, and respect, I help create a safe space where they can relax and build trust at their own pace.

A typical day
I love taking dogs to doggy park so they can roam around freely, especially when the weather is nice. I also like to keep my kitchen door open so they can go in and out to the backyard whenever they like.

Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and was lucky to spend 10 wonderful years with my golden retriever, who showed me how special a deep, trusting bond with a dog can be. I trained him in all the basics like sit, stay, wait, and leave it, and he will always hold a big place in my heart. These days, my home is shared with a playful 10-month-old bichon-poodle mix who keeps life joyful and has the sweetest bond with me as her main caregiver. I’m also a foster mom for a rescue group here in Calgary, where I open my home and heart to dogs who may need a little extra patience, reassurance, and gentle care as they settle into a safe, loving environment. When your pup is with me, I focus on following their routine and helping them feel right at home—whether that means slow, relaxed mornings, quiet cuddle time, playful moments, or simply giving them space to be themselves. I truly treat every dog like family and care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I would be honoured to give you peace of mind while giving your pup a warm, happy, and comforting experience.
Reviews

Linda was very kind and friendly, and Meleys had a great time with her. She loved playing with Linda’s little dog, enjoyed a nice walk, and we received lots of photos and videos throughout the day. It was clear that Meleys was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We would definitely book with Linda again. Highly recommend!

Linda accepted our last minute request to take care of Milo . Also she kept on sending photos, Videos of Milo while we were busy in our trip which gave us relief that he is being taken care of . Would definitely recommend her to my family and friends . Thanks Linda

Our experience overall was beyond disappointing. Given our pup was only 4 months old rescue we picked linda based on the “experience” she had with fostering dogs her age. Less than 24hrs before leaving lana with her we find out she is boarding another dog (who came daily apparently). We had asked couple times about a meet and greet to ensure she is a good match but she assured us all will be well and showed us photos and videos of her with other dogs. Less than 12 hrs after leaving Lana with her, we get a text asking to find someone else because she is too energetic for other dogs and is behaving badly which she never did with anyone else. She is great with every dog she had met. We were left scrambling to find another sitter 1 hr before our flight. Ended up paying triple of what we could initially afford and had to get a friend to help with pick up and drop off. When he picked her up she was visibly distressed with her kennel by the door and lana tied with the leash close to the door. She was also extremely filthy and wouldny even get out of her kennel when my friend put her in the car which she never ever did. She loves car ride. She was trembling when we had to drop at another boarding facility. Whole experience was very unprofessional and simply very stressful for our pet and us. Simply unacceptable!!
