Hello! Bill and I would love to care for your pets! We relocated to Oak Harbor about 4 years. We used to live in San Diego, CA where we met, married and raised two children, multiple dogs, a few cats, & a horse, not necessarily in that order. We have been pet sitting through Rover for the past 14 years since Linda retired from a 30 yr retail career with Macys. Bill retired from a 34yr teaching career in elementary and middle school. While working in San Diego, we teamed up with another great pet sitter, Emily, a client who eventually became our business partner. We worked together for the past two years, so you will also see her name mentioned in our recent reviews. Here is a little bit about our experience as pet owners and professional service as well. We have had many types of dogs, primarily rescue animals. We had a 15+ yr old Beagle, Junior who sadly we lost in January 2024. When visiting San Diego, we frequently care for our daughter's dogs, a Pom/ Dachsund mix and Poodle mix . We have experience caring for both young and elderly dogs. We allow dogs on the furniture in our home. We can provide a pet bed or comfy chair for your dog to sleep in. You are welcome to bring a dog bed and/or crate if that is what your pup prefers. Daily walks, homemade food and playtime are part of our regular routine. Our home is a welcome place for animals and they are always treated as a member of the family. - Linda & Bill

We’ve used Linda & Bill several times, and they’re always amazing! They move at the right pace with our more cautious dog while giving our super friendly pup all the playtime and affection she wants. Their communication is excellent, and we always feel completely at ease knowing they’re checking in on our dogs.
Linda and Bill took fantastic care of our dog while we were away on spring break. They had excellent communication and sent daily pics of our pup. We could tell he was well cared for as he came home relaxed and content.

Schedule
We are both retired and at home full time.If we are caring for your pets and we need to run errands, one of us will usually stay home to supervise and be present with our dog clients.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, grass and large trees to provide shade/shelter. We also have a covered patio and doggy door with access to our house. If we care for your pets in your home we are careful to provide safe care and respect your privacy.
A typical day
We love to walk on the many beautiful trails located in the State Parks or in the community parks and neighborhoods. We have a quiet street/neighborhood with plenty of room to walk, or if your pup likes to visit dog parks we will take field trips to play and visit the local Starbucks for pup cups (if allowed).
