Pleasant, Sunny Home & Yard
I have had dogs all my life & love them dearly. I've volunteered for years in different animal shelters & rescues, during which time, I have walked dogs of all breeds & sizes, fostered a number of dogs, assisted in surgeries at our shelter, conducted hundreds of virtual home checks for a Colorado rescue, & volunteered at various shelter public events. Dogs have always been an important part of my family & I still have a couple of small dogs of my own, plus a cattle dog. They are used to Rover dogs coming here, but not human strangers . I will board 2-3 smaller, Rover dogs at any one time in my home in the area of Reunion/Commerce City, Colorado. This is a good socialization experience for all the dogs & most seem to enjoy the companionship as well. It's a puppy vacation with lots of activity, treats, & relaxation! All dogs are well-cared for! I am reliable, responsible, caring, & compassionate about giving the best care to every dog that comes here!

Linda sends pictures and updates daily of my girls. I know they are taken care of very well and like staying with Linda. She is conveniently located near by the airport parking. I recommend 100%!!!!!
Linda is a very caring and loving sitter. She was willing to take my 16 year old Bichon and I think he did better for her than me! I would definitely use her again!!

Schedule
I am retired now, so I have more time to enjoy activities with my own pets & as well as any other pets in my care. My grandkids live nearby & sometimes come over to help play & walk the dogs, too. I would hope that your dog would also be kid-friendly, but it's not necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog is treated just the same as I do my own dogs. I believe that any dog (whether yours, mine, or foster dogs) enjoys the time that they spend here. They get a lot of socialization, walks, companionship, treats, & peaceful naps in the sun on the deck. What could be better?
Pets
A typical day
The dogs get lots of playtime with each other, as well as with me. All dogs have access to a dog door leading to the backyard where they can spend time exploring & playing. There is a treat time every day & the pups also enjoy laying on my sunny deck. I like working in the backyard & the dogs keep me company while watching for squirrels!

- I prefer to board only small dogs with my own dogs. I believe this is a necessary safety issue. Depending on your dog's temperament, I will possibly take up to 20#. I request a clean dog, all vaccinations to be current, & your dog needs to be spayed or neutered. Are there any medical issues? Try to think about how your dog might react coming into a new environment with other dogs. Is he or she able to calm down after awhile? If needed, we can discuss the best way to help your dog adjust to a new place, new dogs, & enjoy their time while here. Please do understand that there is an adjustment period for any new dog, but dogs do adjust. I personally work with dogs every week at our local shelter & have a great deal of experience with behavior issues. I believe that all the Rover dogs (eventually) do have a good time here & are pretty content.
