Family experience for your dog!
My husband and I both grew up around dogs and have experience with basic training. We're very familiar with continuing training that already exists and are happy to work with whatever rules and trainings you've set up with your dog. We have a lot of cat experience as well, having had a cat together for 10 years, my husband had him for all his 19 years. We've had experience administering medications, both pills and subcutaneous.

We have not left Indiana with anyone for about 6 years so we were very wary on leaving her for a week. However Linda and her family took such good care of her. They were responsive and gave us daily updates. We look forward to having them take care of Indy again.

Linda is incredibly patient with animals and went above and beyond in caring for her own pet with medical needs. She puts a lot of love and care into interacting with pets, and any dog will be in safe hands with her.
Linda is a very kind and loving woman who considers the care of others very important. While growing up she helped in the care of our Jack Russell from the age of seven till she left home to further her education in her late teens. She and her husband took very good care of their elderly cat and has taken care of our current elderly cat when we have asked her to. I would say she is more comfortable with small to medium dogs.

Schedule
We both work hybrid schedules. There's at most one day a week that we're both out of the house the same day, so there's someone home 90% of the time. We're homebodies so we tend to spend a lot of time at home, and would love to have a dog around while we do!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and live very close to a park and trails. I'd be happy to take your dog on long walks and am very familiar with leash training. I have two young and gentle kids who love dogs (youngest is 4). They will never be alone with your dog. We teach them how to respect dogs and watch for their communication. Their grandparents have a mean cat so the kids have learned to respect an animal's communication!
A typical day
I love to take walks and would be very happy to have your dog keep me company. We live close to the lake, a smaller park, and the trans Canada trail. We have a large yard for your dog to run in, and kids that would love a dog to play with (under supervision)
