Critter Companion, Pet Nanny

Pet care experience

I have a year of vet tech school. I have volunteered for the Humane Society in the surgical department as well as been a foster parent to pets in need of special care. I know pet CPR and have Pet first aid. I have cared for all types of pets, dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, snakes, a gecko, some lizards, and horses. I will feed and water, potty them , play with them and walk them. I have lots of toys and games to play with your pet ! I will also pick up mail, paper, and water plants and yard !! References available upon request !! When you have to go away, let me come and stay, and I will help your pet pass the time away!!

Linda is great with our older dog. She takes excellent care of him and gives lots of love and attention to a sometimes cranky older family pet.

Really disappointed with our first time using Rover. We had 2 requirements that we were looking for in a housesitter. First was to stay at the house with the dogs both day and night with a couple hours a day off for personal errands. The second was to sleep in my daughter's bed with the dogs. We were planning on meeting with several Rover housesitters to find the perfect fit, Linda was the first one we met and she assured us she could accommodate our needs. We were aware she'd need to be gone Saturday for a hair appointment and Tues, Wed, and Thurs 12-4 to babysit her grandson. We were hesitant about this because the girls are hardly ever left alone for more than 2 hours but Linda made us feel they would be well taken care of so we hired her as our sitter. Well it didn't go this way at all. During the days, she was gone more than she was with them. She left them alone 8-11 hours everday. The girls are completely housetrained. They tell us when they need to go outside by ringing the bell on the door. Nobody was with them to let them out when they rang the bell. A couple of days they weren't even let out until 2pm!! The list goes on and is too much to discuss in this review but ... cameras don't lie.

Linda is the best. I tend to worry when out of town, but she has always taken great care of our pups!!

Linda was wonderful! She was prompt and left the house very clean. She called us a couple of times to give us updates on the dogs. One if our dogs is a little aggressive but he warmed up to Linda quickly. We definitely would ask her to watch our dogs again.

Information Linda A. would like to know about your pet

As far as in my home I would prefer to keep pets 60 pounds and under. If I come to your house I can take bigger pets as long as I can walk them and them not walk me! Lol

A typical day

You never know ,we will go for walks, play Frisbee in the park , cuddle on the couch, play fetch. They will enjoy homemade peanut butter treats made especially for them !!!!
