Reliable, active & care-taking dog person
I’ve grown up with 4 dogs, all of them being shelter dogs. One of them was slightly difficult-to-train, while one was extremely anxious. I went to various dog trainings (puppy, teenager, grownup, agility, tracking, tricks, dummy training etc). I am a reliable, experienced, and a very loving dog person. Additionally, I regularly help out voluntarily in dog shelters in Spain & Portugal -anything between walking dogs, playing, cleaning, training, as well as serving as a “trust-gaining-therapy” for a dog who was aggressive regarding humans. In summer 2024, I adopted by own rescue Nala from Portugal!

Schedule
I am available during weekends (all day) and I am generally available during afternoons or evenings during the week (from 15.00 onwards) as well as early mornings (until 8.00). I am a PhD student (working full time), but have the possibility to work flexibly and from home. I live in the city center.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced balcony attached to my apartment and some parks very close by (e.g., Renströmsparken). I am an active person and would prefer to be outside - may the weather be bad or good!
Pets
A typical day
I like to keep a dog busy physically and mentally. I very much enjoy teaching a dog new tricks, playing with them, but also to pet them. In addition, I have a car and if renströmsparken or another park in the city gets too boring, I’d love to drive up to Deljön or Radasjön for longer walks!
