I currently work part-time as a kennel assistant, so caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life! I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to make time to stop by and care for your pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

I care for every pet as if they were my own by making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owner is away. As a pre-vet student at Virginia Tech, my passion for animals runs deep. Just as I do with my own dog, in a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure pets have a clean, stress-free environment and would love to keep owners updated with messages and photos!

A typical day
I would love to play with your pet whether that is fetch outside with a dog or giving a cat some enrichment indoor. I'll let your pet explore new places and smells and socialize if that's something they enjoy! If your pet is more laid back I'm happy to give it lots of snuggles and love.

Pet care experience
I have nearly 2 years of experience as a kennel assistant at a Hayfield Animal Hospital caring for dogs, cats, and exotics of all sizes and personalities. I also was a part of the Edison Academy veterinary science class where we provided grooming services to clients. I’ve taken care of my own dog for 8 years and have pet sat for family and friends. I’m reliable, patient, and focused on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also helped train my dog as a puppy and have experience administering medications to pets at my work and will be getting experience as a veterinary assistant this summer.

Lily Sarigianis is a phenomenal pet caretaker. She has personally taken care of my two dogs many times while I have been out of town, and she has done excellent providing them with multiple daily walks and ensuring that they stayed healthy and ate their breakfast/dinner. Not only did she take them for walks, but she played with them many times as well, sending videos and pictures to update me. When I returned home, my dogs were healthy and happy, and my house was tidy and clean just as I had left it. She was exceptional at taking care of my two pups and I recommend that you book with her so you can get the same amazing experience!
