I have taken care of pets for family members and friends on and off for the past 5 or 6 years. Typically, for a period of a week at most, and anything from housesitting to drop-ins, to walks. Most of my experience is with medium-sized dogs, but I can make friends with any breed. The dogs I've taken care of most often for home stays have some German Shepherd in them, so I understand the activity level and mental stimulation they and similar breeds need.

When doing an extended stay in a clients home, I like to establish a little play and walk routine with your pet. Typically, about 15-20 minutes after meals, I like to take them on their walks, and I fit spurts of play-time throughout the middle of the day so they can remain occupied. If I have my own chores to accomplish, I like to give pups an activity, whether that be a bone or a kong, and I supervise their "quiet time" while I'm doing my tasks. Also, if there is a specific dog park that your pet loves, I'm happy to take them so they can socialize and be a goof in the grass. I will shower your pet with affection as if they were my own, and if your pup needs a cuddle, I will cuddle them back.

We loved having Lilly watch our two dogs. She took wonderful care of them and the house, while we were gone for a week. She was thoughtful and the dogs were very happy! We will be using her services again.
Lily has watched our dog and cat numerous times for pop-in visits and over night stays. She does a great job and the animals love her! Our 60lb hyper-active dog can be a lot, but Lily has her sitting in her lap within minutes. I would recommend Lily for any of your pet sitter needs.

Schedule
I am currently working a part-time position as a server, so my shifts during the week and sometimes weekends are, at most, 5 hours. This gives me more freedom during the day to spend quality time with your pet.
