I'd love to meet your pups!
I have had dogs, cats and small furries in my family my whole life. First a border collie who was my best friend as a child, then a cocker spaniel and a samoyed came along and joined the family. Now my partner and I have a Labrador pup of our own and have often used this site to find sitters for her. We'd love to offer our services back to others like us :) I have a lot of recent experience with young pups and therefore I understand how anxious you can feel leaving your dog with a stranger. As well as how important it is to be able to trust someone to care for them in the same way you would.

We are very grateful for Lily 's care of our Ivy. Ivy had a great 'holiday'! She was extremely well looked after and Lily sent us gorgeous photos and reassuring updates. Ivy was very much at home with Lily and we will definitely book again. All communication was easy and Lily was kind and accommodating.
Lily has looked after our bouncy working cocker spaniel and our samoyed. Lily obviously enjoyed being with our dogs, she dealt with pulling on the lead and unreliable recall exactly as we instructed. Lily is very responsible and knowledgeable about dogs, dog psychology and positive training, which was very useful with our young dogs.
I've known Lily for most of my life now, and she has always been devoted to ensuring animals have the best possible life. Pets have always been present in her family growing up and she's also successfully fostered animals too. She always accommodates their needs and is respectful of their boundaries. She truly cares about all animals; from providing affection, food and company whilst a pets owner is away, to making lifestyle and dietary choices to minimise human impact on animals, she's a true animal lover through and through. On a personal level she has looked after my cat Maggie numerous times, and always done a fantastic job and has formed a lovely bond. I couldn't recommend anyone better than Lily.

Schedule
I work an nhs shift pattern whilst my partner works from home so I have several days a week where I can be completely free and devoted to your dog! I normally start my days off with a walk or training session and then Peggy usually naps most of the morning until we go for a walk or play at lunch time. I'm pretty flexible and happy to mix up our schedule to fit your dogs routine to help them feel more at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a securely fenced back garden with plenty of space to play. My downstairs is open plan with hard floors so accidents are easily dealt with if pups cant get outside in time. My own dog is crate trained and we have spare crates available if this is something your dog would benefit from. I will always make sure to meet you before you leave your pup with me, we can discuss your dog's personality and needs so you can be confident in who your pup is with :)

A typical day
If your pup enjoys doggy companionship my Peggy is always happy to play and share her space, however she also loves snoozing out in her crate which will be used if I feel the dogs are struggling to settle together. If your dog prefers human only company I can offer drop in visits to your home instead. Your dog can join me and Peggy on our dog walks which vary in length and location, we have a playing field very close by which is great for fetch and training or if your dog is happy in the car we can go further afield to places like devils dyke or the river adur. If they prefer a lazy day or find the outside world too scary we are more than happy to just hang out at home instead enjoying cuddles or pottering about together.
