Availability
I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule and completely free weekends. I am generally in the office from 8-5 Mon-Fri, but I can flex my time and leave for lunch breaks for locations within ~15 minutes of NCSU campus. I wake up early, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets in the morning, and again in the evening.

Safety, trust & environment
When pet-sitting, I strive to spend as much time with the pets as possible so they don’t get lonely while their owners are away. If they are able to play/play-motivates, I try to play with pets enough to tire them out. Dogs get walks in the morning and evening (and sometimes extra on the weekends, if we are both up for it.) I also strive to leave the house cleaner than I found it, because no one wants to come home to a messy house after traveling. I have my own cat at home, so I can only take house-sitting jobs nearby.
Information Lily D. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know anything and everything you think is important- from medications to their favorite blanket. No detail is too much. I’d especially like to know if your dog has any kind of separation anxiety or issues with other animals, so I can make sure they stay safe.
A typical day
Activities will depend on each dog’s needs, however I aim to spend lots of quality time with all pets. If your dog likes to fetch, I will make sure they get tired out. If your dog is senior, low energy, or injured, I will make sure I spend quality time with them, even if it is sitting with them on the couch to watch tv. If your dog is friendly with others and likes to go to parks, I am happy to do that with them.

Experienced pet friend!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog-walker I was 10 years old, and a house-sitter for about 10 years. Prior to Rover, I cared for dogs and cats repeatedly for over 15 families, house sitting for over 10. I have given medication to aging cats and dogs, maintained training practices for young puppies, and handled dogs of various temperaments. I have also cared for farm animals (sheep, goats, mini horses, chickens, rabbits) and arthropods (tarantulas, scorpions, feeder colonies, etc.) Having my own cat, I understand the peace of mind that comes from a responsible pet sitter! I miss caring for dogs, as I have moved away from my clientele in Florida, and I would love to help care for your pets.

Reviews

Lily was the best! In every picture she posted of Lacy, we could see a happy and content pup. She also took very good care of our home. Lacy wants to know when she will be back 🥰!

Lily is great and easy to work with. She took excellent care of our old dog Rudy and our house. Highly recommended

Booking with Lily was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. She is truly one of the most professional and communicative people I’ve ever worked with. She’s incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — not just with the dogs, but in every aspect of the house sit. Both of my dogs are on a special diet, and she handled their feeding instructions perfectly. That level of attention to detail is absolutely essential for us, and she delivered with total reliability and care. What truly surprised me, though, was how beautifully she took care of our home. In the past, I’ve often come back from trips feeling overwhelmed because the house needed cleaning after a sit — especially with dogs tracking in dirt. This time, I walked in and felt like the house had been professionally cleaned. It was such a gift to return to a calm, spotless space. I would highly recommend Lily without hesitation. If she’s available when we travel again, I will absolutely be booking her.

Lily took the best care of our cat. He really seemed to enjoy the time he spent with her and she provided regular photos and updates. We wouldn’t hesitate to request her care again.
