A typical day

A typical day caring for pets starts with a morning routine of feeding, fresh water, and a quick check-in to make sure everyone is comfortable. For dogs, we’ll go on a fun, energetic walk or play fetch in the yard—anything to get their energy out and keep them active. Cats can enjoy some quiet playtime with their favorite toys, or a cozy cuddle session, depending on their personality. I like to engage them with interactive games like feather wands or laser pointers to stimulate their minds and keep them entertained. Throughout the day, I'll follow any specific care instructions—whether it’s administering medication, providing special meals, or sticking to their usual schedule. I make sure they get plenty of attention, whether through play, petting, or just sitting by them while they relax. In the evening, we’ll wind down with another walk or some calming indoor activities, like brushing or more bonding time, depending on the pet’s needs. My goal is always to make them feel safe, loved, and stimulated throughout the day, ensuring they’re happy and well-cared for in your absence.

First time having Lily walking Cheddar. Very sweet girl, arrived on time and got him a good nice walk. Looking forward to having her walking Cheddar again!

Lily’s true and deep love of animals is apparent in the way she cared for our pets. She could not be more responsible, kind, loving and conscientious about her work and our dogs fell in love with her immediately. I am so grateful that we found such a wonderful dog sitter and walker! I would highly recommend her and will use her for all of our needs for our pets!
