I own two dogs and they are quite the handful! I love them to bits, though. I take very good care of them and never neglect their needs. They are as much as part of my family as my own siblings. I have owned my Linus for two years and have had him since he was a puppy. Next is Shaka who is a senior dog and he was given to me by my boyfriends mother. I have had him for 3 months. I trained Linus from when he was a puppy and when I take him to my office, my coworkers comment on his calm demeanor and how obedient he is. I have also trained Shaka on minor things since he did come with some behavioral issues. He was a very yappy dog and now he does not bark at all. He was also obese and his hair was in dire shape, but he is now a healthy weight with a beautiful coat. I have also trained Linus to be great off leash and I am working on it with Shaka, but, as they say, it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
