I have a 4 year old Border Collie mix named Nonnie that I care for daily. We pretty much wake up, eat, play, eat, go to sleep and repeat. I also dog sit 10-15 days total each month.

A typical day
I will probably spend a lot of time petting and patting and praising your dog. I want to make them feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Other than pouring out all my affection on them, we will likely spend a lot of time playing tug of war or fetch and watching tv (one of my favorite pass times) and going on walks!

Hi I’m Lily! I grew up with 2 dogs and 3 cats and started dog sitting when I was 13. I have 3.5 years of experience working at Lucky Pawz Doggy Daycare in North Liberty, Iowa. During my time there I learned a lot about different breeds, ages, sizes of dogs and how to care for them. I have also been a part time dog sitter/ house sitter in the Iowa City area for the past 6 years. If you’re looking for a sitter, depending on how long the job is, I might ask if it’d be okay that my dog Nonnie came along. She gets along great with other the dogs!

Lily was an amazing sitter for our catahoula leopard puppy and two bengals! She was communicative, sent photo updates, and (maybe best of all) we came home to a tired pup.
Lily is an amazing pet/house sitter with such a huge heart for animals. She’s taken care of my cat and hedgehog numerous times, along with watering plants and bringing in packages. My cat is pretty skittish around most people but she loves Lily. She was great with our former dog as well. She’s very trustworthy and dependable, so I have no hesitation giving her my house keys.
Lily has been a pet sitter for our family for 4+ years. She is always quick to get back to me when I reach out and is eager to come stay with my pups. My pups adore her and when I tell them that she and her dog are coming to stay they start squealing in excitement and running to the windows and doors to look for her! I've always trusted that if there were ever an emergency she would be competent in handling it. As an added bonus, she sends me pictures of my babies when I'm gone and missing them.
Lily has been our go-to dog sitter for the last couple years and has always done a great job taking care of our 2 dogs! We’ve had her stay over at our house during trips multiple times and it has always gone super smoothly. She always gives us lots of pictures and updates, and is very trustworthy and dependable!
